The Joker Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 Cool review on both sets I might just get the Dwarf mine defender after. Quote
Siegfried Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 Oh! I missed these... Thanks for the great reviews. The troll/orc/goblin escape system is pretty cool. I didn't know they were so loyal to their comrades... Its still looks good but the crappy rubber band system is really not well thought off. It needs tracks! (The funny thing is that I forgot about this set when making my Still MOC; even so, now I wonder if I thought of the idea myself, or if I was subconsciencely ripping off that design...) Quote
I Scream Clone Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 It needs tracks! (The funny thing is that I forgot about this set when making my Still MOC; even so, now I wonder if I thought of the idea myself, or if I was subconsciencely ripping off that design...) "they" are always watching...so sneaky! Still despite the faults i think these are two sets def on my list, just for the figures alone (DMD) and the tower set has cool functions. Caaaaaaaaastle On! RebelRock Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 I kind of think that new armor looks dumb. It doesn't look very "castle" to me. Otherwise I'm liking that Tower Raid set. Lots of dark brown and other goodies. It has a lot of parts that make it worthwhile for MOCers to buy multiples of it. Quote
The Kid Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 Yeah, the armor on the troll leader looks like... dare I say it ( )... megablocks. TK Quote
Batbrick Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 Yeah, the armor on the troll leader looks like... dare I say it ( )... megablocks. TK I love it. Sure it doesn't look entirely "castley" but it does look very much like something a troll would wear, and it is very useful for space or post-apoc mocs too. Batbrick Away! Quote
