soccerkid6 Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 This was built for a college assignment, where we had to make some sort of visual art. Of course I chose to do something with LEGO, and used it as an opportunity to recreate Chartres Cathedral. The Abbey of St. Piat was not included in my rendition. It took 16 hours to complete, and weighs 4.6 pounds. This is my first cathedral, and it was quite a fun project. You can see more pictures on brickbuilt. Thanks for looking, feedback always appreciated Quote
Captain Dee Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Beautiful microbuild, yet again! It looks spectacular, and would be a really good architecture set. You really captured the look. Quote
Puvel Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Another amazing (micro)build! Well done on getting on the little details in there, lots of clever usage in there! Quote
Lazlo Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 Amazing creation! I am looking for inspirations for a micro church either. It will be a larger scale than this, but it is really hard to find the right parts for design and ornaments. I am new in this area yet. Quote
ED-209 Posted December 1, 2017 Posted December 1, 2017 Wow, I love how intricate and detailed it is! Some wonderful texturing in there! Quote
