babyjawa Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Are those printed on white waterslide decal paper? That would be the only reason I could think of that they looked like they were printed on well... regular paper. White waterslide decal paper is best for dark colored torsos and for getting colors you normally couldn't. (white) I think you got them right too. I can't wait to see more of your work! Quote
Hinckley Posted February 27, 2008 Author Posted February 27, 2008 Are those printed on white waterslide decal paper? White waterslide decal paper is best for dark colored torsos and for getting colors you normally couldn't. (white)I think you got them right too. I can't wait to see more of your work! I will have to play with that when I get the new paper. Like I said in the other topic about paper, I haven't had much luck with clear decal paper because the colors are still too transparent. I have plenty of clear left, so maybe I will try to print off some more roman torsos. Now I'm all over the board. Let's continue this discussion in the paper resources topic...I asked the same questions over there. Quote
Hinckley Posted February 27, 2008 Author Posted February 27, 2008 V.5: Following babyjawa's advise, I did the new torso on clear decal paper, but you can tell the skirt is on white... I think I really need to experiment with how to make colors show up the way I want them on clear decal paper. Perhaps it is the quality of the paper? 8-| I don't think it's as straightforward as matching the CMYK from any official charts. That works on white, but this seems very different. Looking forward to advice and practice here in the workshop! *sweet* *y* I'm happy with the boobies! I never thought I'd say that. What do my booby advisors think? Someone mentioned earlier that this topic would scare women off. Actually, I would love some female advice on the topic and trust me, this is in no way meant to degrade the boobies. No no. It is intended to celebrate the boobies. Trust me, I'm not a threat. ;-) Boobies On! Quote
Batbrick Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Looking great now Hinckley! (Where is the drool emoticon? X-D ) Now all they need is some cleavage I'd say. Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote
Shadows Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Those are sooooooo close! Actually, there are only 2 points left to make (haha, get it, 2 points... don't look at me like that Hinckley, I'm not explaining it, it's for everyone else! :-P ). 1. Why the shadow on top of the boobies? Bottom half? Yes. Clearly indicates a place where an overhead lightsource would be shadowed. Top half? No. Light can freely hit the top of the boobies. 2. I didn't have a second point. Refer back to the 2 points joke. ;-) So, thank you for starting this project. I've never had quite so much fun with boobies without real ones being involved before. *y* Quote
Asuka Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 What a difference.... sweet, especially that skirt version! Would you mind to ask her to go out for dinner with me, Hinckley...? 8-| And don Quote
