Commodore Thrawn Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Just now, Alberto Brick said: So it could be like Steppenwolf, he too is considered a bigfig from Lego ? True. The official description of the Flying Fox set says: Includes Cyborg™, Batman™, Wonder Woman™, Superman™ and 2 Parademons minifigures, plus a Steppenwolf™ big figure Quote

Not gonna happen. it's a legit big figure. That one is brick built. 9 minutes ago, Legocity2713 said: Have you seen the Hulkbuster @SpiderJazz? Is it just a small modification of the last set? Anything else included? Or anything about the builds in the smallest set with the 2 Outriders, Widow, and Cap? I'm sorry but I haven't seen the Hulkbuster set, I myself is excited to know the details about it, Aside from new head for Hulkbuster I've seen nothing. I am not 100% sure of it but my source says Cull Obsidian will be a new mold. Again, I haven't seen him yet, once I have concrete information I will update you. Quote
SpiderJazz Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 @Commodore Thrawn I'd be dissapointed and pissed off at the same time if that happens. Quote

I think we all would be. But if you think about it, Cull Obsidian is the only new figure we haven't seen yet. It would also be strange (no pun intended) for the Sanctum to be as large and as detailed as it is, have a fairly reasonable price (the rumored ~$100), and still include a big fig. I want to be optimistic about it, but I think people need to lower their expectations a little. Just in case. Quote

They decided to give him a new mold over a new thanos mold Quote
Alberto Brick Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 He definitely has a new mold: bust and head! The rest will be a build. When Spider Jazz said "bigfig" I was very excited, I thought he saw it. But if all we have, in truth, is the description of the catalog, I think it will be like Steppenwolf. I love the minifigures we've seen so far, except Thanos. I hope we will get one right next year ? Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 I’d like to think that if we’re paying for a $100 set, we’d be getting a new bigfig and mold. Groot was in a $40 set, the Sentinel in a $50 set. I’d like to think we’d leave them behind at that price point, with two big figs in a $60 set this past year. However...Steppebwolf was in a $130 set. When you look at him though, a big fig of Steppenwolf would have been very out of proportion. Cull Obsidian could use a mold though. Just my two cents. I’m personally hoping for a big fig, of course, and I’d like to think that’s the way they’re going to go. Quote
Commodore Thrawn Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 In other news, the Brick Show's website has some information up about the Infinity War sets. Although, I'm not sure if it's 100% accurate, since it doesn't completely line up with what's been said on here. The biggest piece of information, though, is that it claims that the main build of the Thanos set is the Milano. Thoughts? Quote

It’s pretty accurate to the stuff said here, only thing is here the sets have been discribed with more detail. The stuff the brick show posted is legit Edited January 4, 2018 by Falconfan1414 Quote
Hoth Rebel Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 It pretty much says: The only thing worth your money is the biggest set. Quote
Falconfan1414 Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 They say the final battle looks like it should be 60$ Quote

Falconfan1414 Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 So cull obsidian is a new big fig with with a ridged molded head. They decided to make him a big fig and reuse thanos’s mold so they wouldn’t have to make a second new big fig mold Quote
Scarilian Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 New info from 'TheBrickShow' 76101; - The Outrider Dropship Attack - Dropship is black/trans blue 76102; - Thor's weapon quest - Buildable black portal, fairly small in size - Spaceship looking like a Quadjumper from Star Wars, small in size also, flown by Rocket - Electric pulses from Thor's hands 76103; - Corvus Glaive Thrasher Attack - Includes an Outrider (not mentioned in description) - Tower build - Bladed weapon build crashing into tower 76104; - Hulkbuster Smashup - Includes an Outrider (not mentioned in description) - Hulkbuster looks very similar, but potentially bigger - Small turret build - Falcon has build-able wings 76107; - Thanos's Ultimate Battle - New 'Milano' but grey/orange/mango colored - New 'Milano' is similar size to GOTG2 Milano - No builds other than the New 'Milano' - Iron Man has his jetpack sort of thing - Confirmation of only Thanos, Iron Man, Star Lord, Gamora :( 76108; - Sanctum Sanatorium Showdown - Looks like a small Lego Creator modular - Front/Side look detailed in a similar sense - Molded head for Cull Obsidian/Black Dwarf, looks 'cool' Quote

SpiderJazz Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 So if we're getting the Milano in the retail set, we can cross it out in the 7th set and D2C. There's hope for those missing characters, Avengers HQ. Quote

Because there is no surprise fig, just a bunch of Outriders that wasn't mentioned. Soon, we'll have pics of him man. And you know the drill. Do you know anything about the D2C set yet? Quote

I may get the sanctum at a later time. Quote
SpiderJazz Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Guys here's a very interesting information, So based what Brickshow have said, the Ironman from the Thanos set has a jet pack.. So morelikely it's the MK 48 figure (based on the conceptual arts) And the MK 43 exposed chest could be the one in the Sanctum. Oh no, I wish they the other way around. 12 minutes ago, LegoFan117 said: Do you know anything about the D2C set yet? None as of the moment. Quote

No worries man - thank you for the info. Why do you think we got so many re-releases this time around? Seems like some should've been updated. Quote

That sucks. I hoped for another ship, espicially since I got the milano in the vol2 sets. I atleast hope it is different enough so I'll have a reason to buy it. Quote

doclord Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Something interesting I found out is that the largest set for Jurassic World 2 is ALSO a large building-type playset (albeit badly damaged). Couple that with the Hogwarts sets that are probably coming, and maybe we're seeing the return of playset focus for kids? Quote
