Long time lurker! Any chance this magical wal-mart is in the Greater Toronto Area? I've noticed a few sets pop up at Masterminds and Wal-Marts around my area, wondering if its the same one I went to earlier and saw the tags out for. Quote

SpiderJazz Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Better pics of Chris Pratt's (Owen) minifigure from Jurassic World showing the new face print! Perfect to use with GoTG2 / Infinity War Starlord minifigure. Quote

That set has new Thanos (old mold) new Gamora and new Ironman (MK50) Reusing Starlord is okay, I think design of Owen having the moustache and sideburns is spot on for the movie but not for GoTG v2 Quote
AmericaLego Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Have piece counts been released for the Infinity War sets yet? Also does anyone think these sets will be shown at New York Toy Fair? Quote

jtslimshady Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 It seems like all of the guardians have the same costumes as they did in Vol.2, even Nebula, so it makes sense that they would only update Gamora as her mini figure from that series did not have the coat. Quote

Just saying ...how? It was exactly what she was wearing at the start and end of the movie. Maybe it’s not accurate for the casual scenes in the movie but it’s still plenty accurate to outfits she wore. Quote

Unless I’m mistaken, Star Lord has a new outfit too, but from a glance it isn’t that different. It’s still a red coat, so I can excuse reusing his old design. I just really wish TLG would update Gamora’s hair. The Aquaman/Lobo hairpiece would be 100x better than the boring one she has now. Quote

Stardlord is a repeat. Same red coat from GoTG 2 Quote
SpiderJazz Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 UCS Hulkbuster actual model image is up in usual places. It looks like the legs build are "okay" to me, compare than the box art. Quote

GoldenNinja3000 Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Found it. Legs look better but the hips look very skinny and just kind of odd. It still mystifies me why the legs can’t move forwards or backwards and why the base is so much more detailed than it needs to be. It’s looking better though and more worth the price. Quote
Scarilian Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 (edited) Somehow it looks worse than the box art The build is so tall and thin that it looks nothing like the Hulkbuster proportionally; Legs, body and arms are all the same length. For a Hulkbuster the legs and arms should be longer than the body (as shown above) Leg design is at least something resembling the inspiration and you can tell they tried with the chest at some point, but it's so tall and thin and unfinished - the more i look at it, the more i'm seeing the exposed segments of the inner build which should be covered (most notably the gray areas on the arms, and near the crotch, along with the unnecessary gray areas on the side of the legs) The arms desperately needed shoulder pads and without them it looks like they are just slapped onto the build. Hopefully the promotion is good and the price cheap... Edited February 8, 2018 by Scarilian Quote
Wotan135 Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Whait..where we get the price 160,- for Hulkbuster? On that page (do not remember which was it) was 160,- for 76106 set and for 76105 was only 50,- which has Hulkbuster on his box... Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 (edited) Too much overhang from the helmet dome. Maybe it’s the way they’ve positioned it, but hangs right over the pectoral plates. I like the rest of it though. The gold looks very good except for the stickered shoulders; in my opinion, those clasps should have been brick built rather than “detailed.” I really like the legs. The rest looks mediocre, too much like other Lego mechs. I really hope this is closer to $125. Edited February 8, 2018 by Aegis2000 Quote
