To counter the progression of the New Brickika tanks on the South east border of the Deland Republic, the Federal High Command decided to send their best Mountain specialists : The Hercynian Hunters.

Here you can see a team taking position in a crow nest at a top of a reach to target the tanks passing by.

The rocky wall is well detailed, and so are the trees. The effect on the bent tree is also very interesting.

I like the rock work, not too many people venture into SNOT terrain.

The bent birch tree is using a flex tube to maintain the hollowed pieces together. Simple technique but very useful !

Yes you're right, SNOT terrain is not common. And I found it was fun to do and very convenient for a snowy scene. I probably will re use this SNOT terrain technique in future snow builds...

Yes it's cold up there... It's the Hercynian Mountains ! They mark the border between the Deland Republic and New Brickika. they are very snowy ! (And cold... )
