Posted December 15, 20177 yr A short section of a street layout built for a children's "learning with LEGO" exhibition. Regards Wes
December 16, 20177 yr What is that crossing part in the middle of the road? Just a waiting area until cars get by so people can cross? I haven't seen those before. As for the LEGO part of it, looks interesting. A bit more detailing could work for the ground terrain/water, but looks good overall. Very active.

We have those here in New Zealand, essentially so they done have to stop two lanes of traffic - you have one pedestrian part where it allows people to cross, you stop in the middle and press the next one and wait for the next time it allows you to cross so the traffic at the lights doesn't have to stop for both sides (as below)
December 19, 20177 yr Interesting. I'm from a much smaller area I'm assuming, so I haven't witnessed these. But thanks for the graphic and information! Learning something new every day.

December 19, 20177 yr This is great! It reminds me of the background cities that Lego would put in their advertisements (I'm not sure if they still do this--I haven't paid as much attention--but when my Dark Age ended a decade ago, I was always impressed with those backgrounds). I like the clean look that you've given the buildings; it makes them all fit together very well.
