[MOC] Expanding 6380 Emergency Treatment Center

As a classic Town set, 6380 Emergency Treatment Center did not have a back to the building.  I've modded the building in order to have a full interior while trying to keep the original recognizable. This is a WIP and I'll update when I have more to it.

When finished, it will have a front and back entrance, reception area, patient exam room, bathroom, doctor's office, and break area.

Hospital MOCs/Mods are quite rare, so its nice to see one! It certainly goes into the right direction. I like that the critical areas are covered from the view now, while keeping the white/red pattern. Looks very neat. I would add a floor too though. Maybe in light tan. tiles intermixed with some studded 1x1 plates could create a nice clean look while providing sufficient poseability. What I wonder though: how are the arrivals from the ambulance transported inside? It looks like the passage leading from the driveway inside has been removed.

All in all though a very promising update of a really great set.

I'm planning on the first floor being tiled in white (easier for cleanup in a medical facility) with a few studs for poseability. The second floor will probably be tiled in dark brown to represent hardwood floors, since it is a mostly private area for the staff.

As far as the arrivals from the ambulance, I pictured this more as a family clinic, so not too many ambulance emergencies. I'm also planning on a small landscaped parking lot behind it when I get it in a large layout. With this in mind, ambulance dropoff in the case of emergencies would be through the back door.

LEGO Friends released Heartlake Hospital 41318 in 2017.  There may be a few ideas in it that you'd like to incorporate in your build.  I went a little nuts and bought six sets during the Christmas sales to eventually build my own version.  Best wishes with your hospital / family clinic!
