Hey guys! Does anybody thinking about 8x4 or even 10x4 MOD? I do. But only after buong the set. It will be not in the near future :(

How about something like this?  Using the B-model cab instead of A-model.

For those that do not know, this is a concrete pump truck.

Interesting idea, maybe you could try with 2 combined sets.

Hi there, as we know is so boring manually play linear actuators. Then I developed an automatized version with an M motor, an extension wire and a switch control.

The motor is powered by the battery box from the RC truck and actuators are switched by a gearbox.

LXF HERE

Opinions and good ideas are welcome!

@evortigosa that's a neat solution, I see two issues - based on my experience the M motor might be too weak for this purpose (especially if you put anything in the container), and to operate the cranes smoothly you need to control both actuators the same time.

You have a point @kbalage

I don't built it yet but from the lxf, there is space enough to change the M by an L motor.

I believe there is no need to control both actuators at same time, but I am not sure.

Thanks, by the way :)

Some work with my mods

Hello Michael,

First of all thanks for the great MOC. I would like to build this too.

I also read the whole post at the Doctor Brick Forum, looking for the final lxf from the 42078 MOC as seen in this video.

Somehow I'm not sure which is the final version.
Would it be possible that you can post the final version lxf again?

WideBody with RC on the truck + 20fuss version with RC on the trailer.

thank you in advance
