Bob De Quatre Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 A little something I build during the year. It was a first experiment with PF functions that went pretty well and taught me a lot. Functions are: - rotating rotors - 4 linked rotating propulsors - opening/closing side doors - lights on front "wings" Komodo Heavy Dropship by BobDeQuatre, on Flickr Komodo Heavy Dropship by BobDeQuatre, on Flickr Komodo Heavy Dropship by BobDeQuatre, on Flickr Komodo Heavy Dropship by BobDeQuatre, on Flickr Komodo Heavy Dropship by BobDeQuatre, on Flickr Komodo Heavy Dropship by BobDeQuatre, on Flickr Komodo Heavy Dropship by BobDeQuatre, on Flickr Quote
Jody Meyer Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Wow Bob this is awesome, great power functions, great detailing. Looks well thought out. Quote
Digger of Bricks Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 A most epic dropship Bob! As always, I love your consistent usage of Bright Red/Dark Red with plenty of curved slopes integrated into your sci-fi creations! Quote
nerdsforprez Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Terrific build and submission. Would also love to see the internals, motors, gears, etc..... Quote
TheBrickLord Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Absolutely gorgeous!!! Nice work man Quote
frumpy Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 This is very cool. The fact that you've got motorised parts is even more awesome. Great job! Quote
sander1992 Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 That is a very nice dropship. I like the dark red in the vehicle. Do you got the inspiration from the Dino 2010/Dino Attack helicopter? It reminds a bit of the helicopter, when I look at the shape of this model. Quote
Johnny1360 Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Looks great, such attention to detail. Especially like the design of the front half, with the extensive armament. I would hate to disembark out the back though, with those barber shears spooling up. Quote
slopemodified Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 Very cool. Lots of weird angles all over the place. I imagine this is from a world where there are multiple military factions locked in conflict. Are the propulsors meant to be the main engines, and the propellors kick in when it needs the extra lift for heavy cargo? Quote
Leonardo da Bricki Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 Love this beast! I am reminded of a Chinook helo, crossed with a V-22 Osprey, mixed with... I'm not sure what, but it looks awesome! And the PF is the cherry on top. Great functions to have, especially the linked contra-rotating hubs. Quote
Orange Leader Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 What a beast! The power functions are wonderful. Great that it also transports a land vehicle! Quote
Professor Thaum Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 Another one that is killer Bob !! encore un véhicule qui déchire sa race, Bob, la rampe et le petit buggy de combat sont incroyables Quote
Juxtapoisson Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 This is very excellent. I know it's not the point, but I'd like to see more of the buggy. Quote
gcwlego Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 Late... but this is awesome. Just was looking online for lego dropships and this was near the top. Also would love to see more of the halftrack Quote
