I wonder if I could use anyone else's stuff. He said to himself. Then figuring the heck with it eats the Level-Up Mushroom and The Tiny Shroom. Plus finishing off the Nostrum from earlier (witch he thought he already drank). 

"I wonder if we should break into two parties, one of which heads for the Wind Thief and the other for the Magpie."

Heckz finishes the Nostrum and Smelling Salts he started earlier.

"Could anyone lend me some precious gems? Preferably a Ruby or a Diamond. I have a feeling they will come in handy against plant demons."

He then takes out his Bad Luck Charm and tosses it Ezeran, careful not to hit the slimy mouth in his belly.

"That trinket there proved extremely useful during my time as a sorcerer. Don't break it and don't let that abomination consume it."

He turns to the rest of the party.

"Anyone in dire need of a grating stone?"

The party heads for the Magpie, on board the heroes find the ship strangely empty, though the gangplank has been dropped. A sound of broken glass rings out below deck and a familiar cleric pops her head up from the hold below.

er, no I returned to Eubric  and given the mess it’s in, planned to take the Wind Thief and leave, but it’s missing some gear. You caught me ‘borrowing’ some supplies.

The Thief is set up so it can be sailed by two or three. But it’s not well armed. More a smuggling ship than a warship. As for the thief himself, I have not seen him in a long time. Nerwen’s manner visably cools at the mention of Guts Holla.

Karie raised her hand amongst the crowd. She had remained silent up until this point since she was not a sailor and knew not the technicalities or skills to determine which vessel was the best fit to sail towards the Fort. She was, however, skilled enough in the art of deception and acting.

"If we need a deception, I could potentially pose as someone of importance to ensure we can slip in." She reveals her Scroll of Magical Disguise and her Trickster's Mask of the Elf. "I could easily fool whoever we need to get past."

"Nerwen.  It is good to see you again."  Despite the pleasure of reuniting with another long-lost friend, Arthur's heart drops at the realization that the Magpie is otherwise empty.  Fearing the worst, Arthur consults his Magic Compass as to the location of Captain Illdria.

"We could play a shell game with the three ships, assuming their crews haven't been taken.  Truth be told, I was hoping Captain Illdria and her crew could sail around and distract the fort troops from a distance after they dropped us off, but if she's not available--or worse, if they've been taken like so many others--then we'll unfortunately lack that advantage."

Vindsval crosses over to the ship and braces his feet firmly, it feels strangely comforting to be back onboard a vessel.  

Nerwen was it?  I am called Vindsval.  You say you have a ship, how many could it hold?  We are growing larger in number by the moment, and I fear if we are to put all of our eggs into one basket we would be too easily scrambled.  We have agreed to strike at the same target, but perhaps if we were as arrows shot from many bows, we would have a greater chance.

Upon seeing Nerwen Throlar's manner became noticeably more reticent, as if he wasn't sure how she'd react to his presence. He opened his mouth as if to say something, but then closed it again and, while not actively hiding, assumed a position more or less at the back of the group.
