Aventador2004 Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 Great job, why does the servo turn slowly? Quote

Aleh Posted January 26, 2018 Posted January 26, 2018 Really love your model! I will watch the review when come home afterwork! Quote
Mechbuilds Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 There are many issues with the instructions. But the hood is pretty much impossible. In real life, it will hit the bumper support and it's one stud too low. I'm currently using the same chassis to build an articulated dumper. Very easy to convert the rear.. I'm trying to make the front end completely out of lego since i don't have many system parts. Quote

I can agree about the panels on the fenders being very close but thats pretty all. But it is true that the 3D model isn't really good (this was my first complete 3D model). Quote

Your Granite was my first Truck Rebuild. I got angry with the "LDD instruction mode" but i had no experience and now i know, you can't use this function. When you handle the 3d model like a real one it's totaly ok. You said the Rear axle is inspired from Efferman, now your Axle is the paragon for my axles. This truck is quite simple, but the functionality is great. The hood is inspired by the Anthem, but it's also better and it's only technic. That's what make this truck so cool. In my fleet there is not only the black original. It's back to your inspirations, the race chassis is from Ingmar... The former version was a heavy duty tractor with a sleeper Quote
Mechbuilds Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 (edited) For some reason when i make the hood, the hood connection will hit the bumper connection. I just don't get it.. I'm planning on making this with a turn table on the rear so it will have a springless suspension. Can't figure out any possible way to fit a suspension on this chassis. EDIT: I mean suspension for the front axle. Edited August 21, 2020 by Mechbuilds Quote

Mechbuilds Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 Oooohh.. So the blue pins are there for no reason? Quote
