Ep2 or CW clones ??

Thanks *yoda* . After again looking at the pictures of the two, and btw, very good pics of each, I clearly now am in favor of the new Clones. I will even go so far as say that I might want to get rid of my EP 2's. I love the new torso printing, and who can resist those pauldron or visor. And I really, really like the printed faces. I have been trying to get a hold of a Jango Fett head for my Palin Jax Sig fig. I guess I will just wait until the new line come out. Either way, I need to get the new clonies in Black >:-) .

I way prefer the new revamped model of clone ;-) Did I say I disliked the regular Ep2 clones already X-D

My only problem is the side holes on the helmets for the regular troopers |-/ They won't have antennas anyway so they look weird. Also they won't put the new pauldron so you would see too much the neck.

Basically they should have made 2 helmet moulds ;-)

Black Clones/Scouts/Guards would be amazing. If lego did this, it would sell better than the standard clone battlepack.

I thik they are still preliminary sets. Since it say preliminary across the entire bottom of the box...well its close to final as u see some of the paint (on plo koon and clones) isnt really well done and that will probably b fixed and a few little changs...if were lucky they might change the clone count but..i think its like this cuse maybe just maybe we will get some ep 2 clone bps. i think they shuld really consider cuttin obi wan kenobi for 2 extra clonies thatd be nice:)

They should make it the Arealights customs.

I like the new clones because theres alot of things to go with them. The old clones seem boring and I dont like the chin guard.

And this is how I know I'm old. Converting something to a black color scheme doesn't increase its awesomeness for me.

Like that 'shadow AT-AT' or whatever it was for the Titanium series.

No, black no longer equals win.

Now black with yellow trim and a triangular insignia...but thats not really Star Wars.

Old *sad* ? Old *sing* ! well, at 30, I guess I am too, but it's more the whole covert ops thing ;-) . But I do agree whole heartedly about the Blacktron nudge *wub* . I spent a small fortune buying the pieces to make my Renegade. Also Batrax and Invader. Who knew that a black 2x2 black wedge with a little yellow paint could cost $4? And don't get me started on the black window shutters.

The whole shadow/black thing goes back to whats going on in the TIE army Forum. It's not really a big push or nothing. As to go Black, it to is also an omage to the original Man in Black.

And *yoda* , mesa be liken that badi, badi Shadow Scout!!! I already go his speeder

To me comparing the 2 is almost pointless because 1 is based off the actual Phase 1 Clone from the movie and the other is based off an animated version of the Phase 1 Clone.

That being said its original mold Phase 1 Clone Trooper for me all the way!

Originals are almost always better. :-P

uhh, i like the first ones helmet better, but the new ones overall scheme is great :'-) ;-) has anyone noticed that the original one is like pure white, but the new one is off white/yellowish? maybe its just me, or the pics... |-/

EDIT: those customs are soo cool! lego should replace thiers with those.

Jim, it's the lighting. The new mold Phase 1 trooper is probably under generic yellow Florescent lights and the original mold Phase 1 is under White lights.

I like the torso print for the CW clones, but I don't like that exposed neck. If I end up getting any of these sets (which seems unlikely right now), I'll be using a plain black head to get rid of the fleshieneck.
