February 29, 200817 yr Nice find! I like the re-done Cafe Corner the best. Edited February 29, 200817 yr by Lt. Col. Thok
February 29, 200817 yr I saw this 5 hours ago, I just didn't want to get publicly humiliated by one of the mods, ah well, it hadn't already been posted.... I like it.
March 1, 200817 yr I saw this 5 hours ago, I just didn't want to get publicly humiliated by one of the mods, ah well, it hadn't already been posted.... Its not humiliation, we all make mistakes, :-) Very nice find. While the make up of the sets are different, they absolutely have the same feel as Cafe Corner and Market Street. My favorite parts are the cobblestone street, and the mini-marketplace.
March 1, 200817 yr Whoa! Those are great! So much like the original sets, but with such a great medieval look, these are fantastic! Thanks for bringing these to my attention! :'-) ~Peace
March 1, 200817 yr Excellent find! *y* The Dwarven Hall is clearly the better of the two, just as Cafe Corner is. I really don't like Market Street much in it's original form, though this conversion is fairly nice, especially the smaller market portion. Good to see that the modular style is inspiring builders of various themes. Could modular Pirates be far behind? *pirate* *y*
March 1, 200817 yr Author Eurobricks Emperor I saw this 5 hours ago, I just didn't want to get publicly humiliated by one of the mods, ... I don't think the mods on Eurobricks are in the "public humiliation business" ;-)
March 1, 200817 yr Nice find *wub* The cobblestones are great, and I can never get enough of that tiles-for-bricks technique. The second floor of the CC is very nice, and the bell tower at the top adds to the feel of the building. The golden helmet used as a sign is nice, but those weapons above the entrance aren't lego are they? Nevertheless, these are great, I hope to see more CC/MS-esque MOCs made. Space Cafe Corner ON! :-P
March 1, 200817 yr I don't think the mods on Eurobricks are in the "public humiliation business" ;-) That's too bad. Maybe you can corner the market :-D . In all seriousness, this is pretty nice. It's actually the kind of adult oriented model I was hoping LEGO might one day produce for us castle fans (mind you, I wouldn't expect something that mirrors the cafe corner THAT closely). Nice job.
March 1, 200817 yr Nice find B! I like the medieval styled cafe corner and the small market stand! *y* But the use of dark bley and red for a building...i'm not sure.... Thanks for sharing!
March 1, 200817 yr I love this, it's really nicely done! I too like the dwarven hall best, but on the other hand, I especially like the market part of the other module. The market building is good, but I think the colours don't entirely work on it. I see the goblin fell over in one of the shots :) I'm not such a fan of studless areas like a lot of MOC commentators seem to be. Lego is supposed to have studs! The arrangement also shows off just how cool the Lego dwarves are; they really look the part! I like the use of the golden helmet above the door. The cobbles are absolutely fantastic. I'd be tempted to buy a bunch of 1x1 round flat bricks to do similar! I have quite a lot from all my various sets that have grey (castle, HP, western), but nowhere near enough for any serious amount of cobbling.
March 1, 200817 yr TLC needs to release similar sets for the Castle line. It would be exactly what many people are asking and waiting for. 8-
March 1, 200817 yr Great find, Bonaparte! These CC styled medieval buildings look brilliant! The only thing I miss is an open backwall and some interior. But apart from this they are very well done - with many nice details.
March 1, 200817 yr Amazing! I especially like the redone Cafe Corner. The resemblance is uncanny! *wub*
March 2, 200817 yr An exceptional cool work, a deep and astounding reference, two simply beautiful buildings in marvelous color schemes and with an impressive amount of exquisite details. Very fine! *y*
March 2, 200817 yr Woah thats thats really cool and very similar to the originals, 100 kudos to him *y*
March 3, 200817 yr It's look so beautiful!!! :-D I will love to have one of this, it will be a great set if they will produce one of these! Very nice modification indeed :-)
March 3, 200817 yr Love the medieval CC, especially the recessed verandah so you can take a stroll around the second floor on a balmy evening. Lots of potential for lovely new MOCS with all those delicious new dark brown slopes that are appearing in the 08 castle sets.
