Still. I know and care little about this Rosier, our problems stem from the Fort. I will not let anyone die for what they have done by my word. If we wish to divide forces, I understand, but I highly recommend we fully regroup first. We should make our decisions as a united force.

In any case, my priority is the Fort, and I will return to the Hovels with anyone who desires to follow.

"Sounds like a good idea. I'm in. It'd look poorly on us if we didn't save these prisoners, and the fort would make a good staging area to mount a defence should the rest of the Founders try and take us on. My fellow heroes and I can recollect what has happened to us and how we came into the company of the Fae One." Karie motions to the fairy amongst them. "Don't worry, they're the real deal."

Boomingham rolls his eyes at Heckz and is embarrassed to catch Karie doing the same. He turns to face his fellow party leader. “Why on Olegia would I not want to work with you on this?” He asks, playing wounded. “If memory serves I have never wavered in my devotion to the Hall, and it was you who occasionally forget which side you were on. But no matter.”

Boomingham turns to face the newest new arrivals. “We just played a whole long round of catch up, so I’m afraid our tales will have to wait. I grow anxious. Let us reconvene with the boy and the dragoon and their whole lot. Onwards and upwards.” He glances around and sniffs. “Anything is better than this dank hole. Feel as if I’ve been down here for months.”

Karie doesn't respond to Lawrence initially. She waits for a moment, calculating her response. "I know where my loyalties lie, and I know who I can trust, Boomers. Thanks for taking concern."

Karie looks to Bellanote and hands her a Grand Tonic. "Looks like you could use one of these."

"To be honest, I can hardly imagine taking down at archdemon without the likes of Atramor, Hoke, and Althior present. Though, I suppose with a party of myself, Benji, Karie, and Skrall, with a few others, we could make a tidy nuisance of ourselves. Still, having lost the...Skrall, would you be able to Track Down the person we are following?"

"Probably, granted it's been a good bit of time, so no telling how far he got."

Skrall?

Rone turns, noticing the old archer for the first time amongst the faces.

Skrall! Old friend, how did you of all people get here?

Greetings Throlor. I think I recognize you from the Locale, but that was hardly an opportune time for introductions.

First, Dyric turns to the Founder, clearly impressed.

The Fey One is alive, then? Curious. These Founders clearly retain the memories of the legitimate articles, I had thought they had received those from the Fey One, being made of faerie dust and all. If you are intact, however, I don't know how that would be possible. A pleasure to have you on our side, at least.

WIth that, Rone turns back to Throlor.

"Someone needed to keep Karie's party safe through the sewers, on retainer from Ulric."

“You’re Umbra’s sister, right? Not to put too fine a point in things, but no they’re not.” Boomingham turns to Dyric. “Best to all stick together. We’ll have to track down Rosier eventually, but if we want to jail break the Fort first, I’m all for it.

I mean, it would seem idiotic to just restore Eubric back to its former mess..."

Hey ogre, you sound familiar...You don't know a vampire named Boris by any chance?

He mends this. Showing the Pixie Dust(s). I found these in two different places. One of them down here in this place.

So what are we doing? Chasing this Dark Druid down or just heading back to the Hovels? We could split up, a group chase down the Druid and then meet back up at the Hovels. While the other group heads directly to the Hovels.

"No... No they won't."

Dyric and Matthias lead the group through the breach in the wall and through the incursion of mud and roots before appearing in a sideshoot of the Eubric sewers.

Skrall looks around examining the sewer wall before mentioning to Dyric,

"Looks like we're somewhere between the Apothecary and the Merry Mermaid, there's a sewer grate under the Bascule Bridge, but that might put us out in the open. Or we can keep going west through the sewer, but I ain't got a clue what's currently between us an' the Hovels. Dyric, how'd ya get down here?"

So you're Ulric's crackshot sniper, Dyric says with a grin. I'll admit I wasn't expecting to see you with the Wolfgang, but I suppose I can't complain now. Good to have you around once more.

As for you, Fae One-

- uh, yes. This sort of dust is all that was left when he died. They must be connected with your realm somehow, though I suspect there are a few pieces yet missing to this puzzle.

Dyric marches forward, noting Bellanotte's fears. He will not let them die. He will not bare that.

We came in through the Bascule Bridge grate after skirting the edge of the harbour. That led us straight to you. I suppose we could take that again. In any case, we should be going back east, to the Hovels. The Zeigfried manor is on our side and Triad Park seemed silent, so long as the we can get past the Hall unnoticed it should be a free pass to our destination.

Keeping his voice low as best he can (while on mobile), Dyric turns to answer the Monk.

The Shadeaux, the Guild, and the Ziegfied have all assisted us. I'm sure other houses have helped you. This incursion may be the push we need to unite Eubric. In any case, we need to build Heroica back from the ground up. New Veterans, from those of us left, who have a passion for setting this place right. That's how we save this city. We need to establish cooperation and an unbiased unity, not wars or kingships.

Throlar was torn. He desperately wanted to continue to pursue their quarry, thinking that if only they could capture them they would have their hands on potentially vital information, that this person was in and of themselves highly important, and that allowing them to get away would mean that Rosier would know of the defeat of their forces in Faerie. That worried him, as did the idea of allowing Rosier to go unopposed while him and his companions focused their attention elsewhere, a course of action that he was certain would allow the demon's plan to come to fruition.

On the other hand, innocent people were going to be executed if something wasn't done.

He sighed, remembering his words outside the tower, where he had advocated allowing the very person they were now pursuing to escape them in favor of saving the Fey One instead. He sighed, knowing that as much as he wanted answers he had, in some way, already committed to his current course of action there and then.

And besides, he knew that allowing people to die when he could stop it wouldn't sit well with him in the end.

Throlar follows the others.

"I'd say I'd prefer to go through the sewers at the moment, we're less likely to encounter anyone that way. And if we do meet someone chances are they'll be Dark Druids rather than Paladins or Watchmen. I somehow feel better about fighting the servants of an archdemon then people who sincerely think they're helping to make this city a better place."

At this unexpected arrival of the oldest daughter of the Family to whom he had sworn a silent allegience, the Black Knight humbly took a knee.

"My lady...my halberd is at your command."

He saluted and rose.

"I agree with Throlar. I imagine we will encounter more Druids, and their ilk, but after having fought them twice in one day, I don't particularly feel like facing the Watch again. The Druids are much more preferable.

And a true observation on that last point...though I feel it pertinent to point out that those people are also under the direct guidance of imposters. They have noble aspirations...but less than noble leaders."

Standing further behind Ezeran gets a glimpse of Bellanotte through the crowd of heroes. He pushes trough the crowd and gets down on one knee before her. "My lady, I am so sorry for all that is happening I too will do what I can to put things right and serve your family."

“Well someone needs to make a choice. I’d rather kill some sewer dwelling druids than the members of the Watch - think Cousland will be mighty pissed with me if I slice through all her men.” Boomingham leads the party through the sewer towards the Hovels.

Cutting a bloody swath through the city proves that the false Founders were right about us. We need to be better than that.

"Alrighty then, let's get movin'."

The ogre leads the group through the sewers, tunnels stretch for seeming miles but Skralll forages ahead with confidence. Three times the group pauses as a patrol of paladins and town watch march past up ahead, but the heroes remain undetected at long last the ogre signals a small service ladder.

"Should put us a block or two east of Heroica Hall, other side of Triad Park."

The ogre starts climbing the ladder.
