Maybe, they relly put some discs between, which reasembles brake discs.

Also, that video could be from some preproduction model, when they used porsche rims. 

Also there are some construction of white panels in the background.

Does someone now what are the very specify things to know about the Chiron?

I am not specialist in cars but as Porsche has some recognisable features what could be the function on this further Bugatti?

Aerodynamics moving parts, gearbox commands? ...

I think the chassis parts seen in the video are very early prototypes, or simply just designed for the video. The final product won't necessarily look anything like in the video. The main reason I think so is that the new rims seen in the picture don't fit the hubs of the chassis in the video.

Chiron is the most expensive production road legal car. That is the key feature to be recreated in LEGO. 

seriously: 16cylinder engine, 4wd, active aero. And that is about it.

It's 4 wheel drive with a dual clutch 7 speed sequential paddle shift gearbox and a W16 engine. So worse case scenario we may get 4 wheel drive with a no clutch 4 speed sometimes sequential boat tiller shift gearbox with 2 V8s having sex engine, and a rear wing that can be motorised!

I have over the last few years been building my own 4 wheel drive 4 wheel steer 5 speed manual gear box super car which i hope to post at some point if I'm ever happy with it.

if it is going to be 4 wheel drive I can't think that the gear box can be anything more than 4 gears as on the Porsche it takes up allot of space so would need to be double that for about 3/4 more gears then your going to have a fun time getting the drive shafts to the front wheels unless we get some more idle gears. All of this has to sit behind the seats and before the engine and the Porsche had to have that clunky reverse switch in the middle.

That big curved part on the side could also be made with the new mudguard panel, combined with some 5x2x1 panels.

I think the engine will be even more oversized after adding all of the accessory components. As look how low the top of the block sits, now try adding proportionally accurate parts on top of that. As I believe the parts seen on the the top are components of the exhaust manifolds and catalytic converters. Then end result would amount to an engine that is probably 12-14 studs tall. I think one of the first modifications to make to this will be to replace the entire engine with a much smaller single stud wide cylinder bores, this would also allow one to achieve the offset between the top and bottom cylinder banks, by adding a 1/2 stud offset. Though my best guess is that lego will omit them, as it is "cooler" to see the moving pistons; as if this set is going to be pushed around the floor, it will just sit in someones display case.

My biggest concern is the engine, the way it's set up in can't see it having a despute bottom end with only one crank shaft. It also doesn't have the cylinder set up like the picture above. Not a very accurate engine design if you ask me,  I guess we'll see.

it all comes to LEGO's decision what is ultimate technic car product line supposed to be.

a) technical pinnacle of what is possible in Technic with price to match, aimed mostly at builders and technical audience.

b) collectors item, and shelf queens to look good on the coffee table, aimed mostly at collectors who will build it once and wait for next one.

both are valid and business viable options, but we should not judge it from a) point of view, if LEGO aims at b) (or visa versa)

Very wise words, however the risk is that they'll try the middle ground, which always disappoints both sides.

I do have high hopes for this though (a lot more than with the Porsche), considering the less known designer who made it trying to come out with a bang and the high-profile license raising expectations.

But we'll have to wait and see.

The price is insane, regardless the high piece count .. But on the other hand - the Ultimate Collectors will buy it, it´s relatively cheap compared to the parts costs for an average MOC, even in smaller scale. 

I guess in the video we can see a very early prototype - everything can change in the end product. But I agree about the engine - it´s way too big and sits too high in the car. Why on earth couldn´t they design new cylinders / smaller engine blocks?

The wheels´ attachment points seem to be behind the virtual pivot point in the center. There is no need for new hubs - you could easily attach them like this:

EDIT: is it possible we will see REAL brake discs here??

Woke up this morning, quick glance at the Technic Forum...  WHAAAAAT?! OFFICIAL BUGATTI CHIRON TOPIC?!!?!

I think this set definitely has potential.

Things it needs: W-16 engine, like @Leviathan has made, 4WD, a working paddleshifter, and at least a sequential 6-speed, as Lego likes to cut corners, and can easily forget... "What? 7 gears?" In addition, an adjustable spoiler, and while I'm thinking about it, how about we skip the gearbox for a new buggy motor, as the Chiron IS the FASTEST PRODUCTION CAR! A proper colorscheme, preferably dark azure/black exterior with CHROME (It's not hard Lego, come on!) accents and a tan interior.

Things it DOES NOT need: That ugly engine block in the video, I mean, that looks like a roof truss for an A-frame house, and how is it driven? Also... Clutch gears. No more needs to be said for that. And about that price tag... Just looking over the 2H2018 lineup, my wallet and bank account died, had funerals, and were buried. I don't think I'll be able to get this set, ever. I'd need a winning lottery ticket...

As much as I am really excited for new PF parts, I highly doubt they'll come out in 42083. If they do, though, I will be astounded, and will probably buy it!

I think we are getting new brake caliper imitations with 6 holes (or they are using large sprockets from the tracks). That would explaing the weird wheel pins and the old hubs.

Remember, the real car has massive brakes!

At least no one is speculating about PF this time. I´d say excpect very little and you won´t be disappointed. Perhaps a couple of new bodywork parts, the rims and a new connector or two.
