Okay, didn't know posting links was inappropriate. You missed a link in one of my posts, but I removed it myself.

Thanks for understanding! Technically you are allowed to link to images, but if we are the first to link to Reddit or whatever Chinese source, we get blaimed. I know it's not fair, but that's the way the cookie seems to crumble.

You were not the first to link btw, so don't worry. You simply followed suit.

I can understand if links get banned, I mean, it's basically the same as just showing the image I guess. It's a shame but I get where TLG is coming from regarding copy cats, and besides they want to show it off as it's meant to look. It's kind of a shame the people's first view of it was a distorted picture as it may have affected some all important first impressions unfairly. Still glad to see it though!

I agree. I actually think it's a pitty there are leaked images. But once they are on the internet, there is no stopping...

Absolutely true and I agree. I was really hoping for secrecy till the 1st of June.

After seeing the second leaked images, I can confirm that I will not be buying this set.

Looks like a creator set with all the system bricks used.  Lots of panels and a number of flex axles.

I hope you guys enjoy the set!

If it really doesn't have a gearbox, I might consider buying a copy .

That's evil

2 new flex axles, 7L dark blue!! and 19L (?) in medium blue

Axle on horseshoe is 16L. Maybe other light blue axles have the same length because it's easier for TLG to release only one type instead of two.

@Jim I made some thinkering about the leaks and suing, etc... Many of us agrees that leaks are pity in this case, and we can agree that no one can stop the phenomenon of taking secret photos about delivered packs, as no one can stop instant spreading on internet. This makes me wonder: why is so important to have the reveal date and the actual availability on the very same day? I could deal with Reveal on 01.06 and Shopping on 01.07. Many companies does like that.

So could be a question (actually note) on your list: why not separate these both and push the availability date by 2 weeks? Leak issue solved, surprise factor and shine of the reveal kept on max. As we experienced, secrecy was really good in this case, this 2 weeks would have prevent the leaks (if hey were not intentional of course).

Ok summarized, there are obviously no working brakes, no brake lights and no paddle shifters. I wonder if there is a unique function and what it could be.

The price and it´s incredible.

This is exactly what I was wondering. Images got leaked because the sets have been sent to stores (I think) and reviewers. Arranging the logistics on the 1st of June would have made sense. I have no answer to that. I will try to ask when I am in Billund. I reckon they want to use the momentum to sell the set. That's the only think I can think of.

I am still waiting for my copy btw. Which will probably be after I get to Billund :sadnew:

I got to see the new wheel hubs before link was removed and they are really nice and even if the model doesn't have functional brakes, this new hub can be easily used in mocs for brakes and it actually looks cool

I believe the brake/hubs are a new piece, otherwise we would have to see a pattern oh 6 holes, not just 3. Hope they have less slack too.

I arrived at the same conclusion.

All part of they hypetrain. Look how many thread pages have been added since the first photo emerged.

Their main aim was to avoid it being leaked too soon for the scum counterfeiters but a few days before is a win-win.

This is probably the latest ever leak, except for Joker Mansion.

Back end looks crazy well done! I don't see any paddle shifters and the gear stick in the middle appears to only move forward and backward by a small amount, so I wonder what's going on with the gearbox!

There should be a gearbox, according to the teaser video. However the way it will be controlled remains a mystery.

Have there been any people here who have seen the car in real? From them, I wonder, have they only seen it, or have they also had the option to check it out more closely? As in, seen someone operate it and tell about the functions, for example? Are there people who know anything about its functions? I don't have to know about the functions (that will come in June), I just would like to be assured that the positivity comes from more than just the bodywork.

I like this a lot, it’ll be a day one purchase for sure but a question. Is it me or does that rear rim stand rather too proud from the tyre wall?

Both the negative vibe yesterday and the positive vibe today are based on photo's of the box alone. The front and the back side of the box show the whole car. The back side also shows some details of the engine, the new disc brake piece (most likely a new rotating half for the existing hub with axle holes, known from the CLAAS and the Porsche), seats / mid-console with a shifter and the dashboard / steering wheel. As the box seems to lack further images of the inside, there is speculation about whether or not there will be a gearbox inside. The rear side image also shows a spoiler that is most likely adjustable.

Yes, both on the front side (front view) and on the back side (rear view) this appears to be the case. So watch out for side walk curbs when you're going to park this model .

This is a Technic set. Of course it has functions.
