Could it be that the Porsche was a big success because apart from the AFOL community, many Porsche owners or adults dreaming of a Porsche bought one as a design object? I think this will be much less the case with the Bugatti. The model looks awesome, but there are much less Bugatti owners than Porsche owners or adults dreaming about a Bugatti. So I think that the customer base for this model will be smaller ...

A Porsche 911 is a car that, depending on priorities in life, many people actually can hope to be able to own some day. The Bugatti Chiron, not so much.

9 podcast episodes averaging 30m each, so at least 4.5 hours of listening time today if you want to listen to them all :O.

I am just loving these podcasts. The Bugatti and Lego stories sound very interesting and inspiring :)

@Appie, @Meatman, the DNR looks like this. The 16t clutch gear is for reverse and the 20t clutch gear is for the gearbox. The axle with the 16t gear runs from rear diff to front diff (without center diff). The outpout of the gearbox runs back to the same axle at the other end of the gearbox (that was what you meant right, @Meatman?). The 24t with clutch appears to be part of the engine - DNR drive train. I don't understand why.

RIP all hopes of getting it

Why not ship it from Europe? I did the same thing with Porsche and it turned out much cheaper then in local stores.

Smile guys!

You're in the elite club of people who get the "first look" at a brand new Lego set ;)

(despite the sarcasm, I'm extremely jealous

So from the first reviews it seems the gearbox has the same issues as the 911 - no limiter so yo can go round and round the speeds and the order is not correct in relation to engine speed. Looks like modders are going to have some work.

420 euros in some countries. Good luck selling them at that price, Lego.

It is shameful, 369 Germany 399 other countries 419 in Spain ......

It´s better buy it an amazon.de or uk than lego.com its ridiculous
