The book isn't being laid flat.

That fan on the back of the engine can not possibly be OSHA compliant....

Maybe it is a 1970s RT crane.  They also had smaller hydraulic cylinders back then.

I already reinforced the arm of BWE with extra 15L liftarms but it still flexes. Can't help it anyway.

I guess someone could CNC some lift arms out of aluminum.

It has just occured to me that, if the B model is a drilling vehicle, how would the panels in the prefab house be reused? o.O

I do have a feeling that they would be reused.

If it is a drilling truck, the panel could be sides for the box.

Where is that said box in your video

The cargo box, that green thing in the video holding the power equipment aka. battery box.   Maybe this picture might explain it better.

I'm guessing.  It remains to be seen what the B model really looks like.

Hey builders! What is the MSRP price of this beauty?

Depends of your country.

299.99 (USD) 349.99 (CAD) and around 280 in euros.

So the same as 42070 when it hit the market last year, right?

The tiny LAs on that huge boom still look off, though.

Agree - maybe the gear rack and red housing would look better and have more travel.

LEGO Gear Rack 14 x 2m with groove (18942) and LEGO Housing 2 x 15 x 3m F/gear Rack (18940

Time we had a longer L.A. with 9L travel or more.

Weird feet on the outriggers !!

They don't look like the real thing, but I think they look fairly convincing and stable. It remains to be seen how strong they are though.

There's 'light' - or rather a lack of shade - under the left rear wheel. The picture suggests this thing is resting on its outriggers (albeit only for a millimeter or two),

(EDIT: some of the bracing on the outriggers also suggests 'heavy duty' - wait and see I suppose)

229.99 for Germany.

Thank you.

I have another approach, there is always 20% discount in Muller stores in Croatia during October, so usually I went then to buy what I need when few parts from bricklink are not enough, so it would be the same with this flap ship (one day at least i hope )

I always get my lego for xmas, so there's a solid 5 months for the discounts to arrive... admittedly, it takes some self resolve to wait each year!! But its worth it.. xmas day = big box of lego wrapped up under he tree! Can't wait until this xmas, it will be 42082 waiting for me this year...

you should! I know what the box is, and i've often bought it myself.. then after a couple of days looking at the box my wife wraps it up and i'm not allowed to touch it until xmas day!!!

Surprised there havent been further leaks on this set. Is this because the release date isnt until 1 aug?

Could be, but for now it looks like every attention is on Chiron 樂

Well I'll be getting 42082. The suggested retail price in Australia will be around $400, whereas the Chiron in Australia will be $500 or maybe even $550.

I prefer the Power Functions of 42082 and the enormous size.
