Posted February 1, 20187 yr So a few years back I set out to make my first Star Wars MOC (as an adult that is). I was really into The Clone Wars and decided to start with something small. I finally decided on the Delta-7B, as it was featured heavily in the series. And I had a bigger goal that I was aiming for, that it would be a part of. This was my first minifig scaled MOC, long before my Ghost, Phantom, etc. Though I've had these sitting on my desk for years, it wasn't until recently that a few new pieces came out that finally added the finishing touches to them. So I've finally decided to show them off, in lieu of the bigger thing I'll be showing in the "hopefully" near future. So lets just jump into it. Anakin and Ahsoka's Delta-7Bs. Delta-7B (1) Delta-7B (2) Closer look at Anakin's. Anakin's Delta-7B (1) Anakin's Delta-7B (4) Closer look at Ahsoka's. Ahsoka's Delta-7B (1) Ahsoka's Delta-7B (4) I also designed Hyperdrive Ring's for them. But haven't built either yet. Anakin's Hyperdrive Ring (1) Ahsoka Hyperdrive Ring (1) And just for a size comparison, with my Phantom. Delta-7B (4) by IcarusBuilds, on Flickr Hope you enjoy. IcarusBuilds
February 2, 20187 yr Looks fantastic, you managed to pack a ton of detail in a tiny frame without them looking too busy. Could we see the back and bottom? I'm interested to see how you made the front angle. Do you think you'll make the hyperdrive rings?
February 2, 20187 yr Author Sure thing. Delta-7B (3) Anakin's Delta-7B (2) Ahsoka's Delta-7B (2) I would like to build the rings at some point, but not sure when. I'm trying to save up to build some other MOCs, so the rings are lower on the list.
February 2, 20187 yr Author Thought I might as well post the rest of the Delta-7B's that appear in Clone Wars since I have them. None of these are built in real bricks yet. First, Adi Gallia's Delta-7B. I couldn't figure out a way to do the pattern in bricks, so I left it solid and would add stickers or something if build. Next, Barriss Offee. Hers isn't seen for very long, but is a palette swap of Obi-wan's Delta-7B. Keelyvine Reus's Delta-7B. Only seen in the webcomic, hyperdrive ring is a palette swap of Mace Windu's. Kit Fisto's Delta-7B. Luminara Unduli's Delta-7B. Only appeared in the table top game, there are very few pictures of it and all are fairly low res. This is what I came up with, hyperdrive ring is a palette swap of Anakin's. Mace Windu's Delta-7B. Obi-wan Kenobi's Delta-7B. Plo Koon's Delta-7B. Same deal as with Adi Gallia's, left solid. Saesee Tiin's Delta-7B. Is a palette swap of Ahsoka's, as such so is the hyperdrive ring. Enjoy. IcarusBuilds
February 2, 20187 yr These look great! What scale are they? Apparently i cant read haha What is the acutal scale? like 1:40ish? or if you dont know that, how long are these in real life? Edited February 2, 20187 yr by supertruper1988
February 2, 20187 yr Author The scale I use for all of my "minifig scale" MOCs is 1m = 3 studs, which I believe is 1:41.67. The Delta-7B is 8m long, which would be 24 studs, mine are technically 1 stud to long at 25, that's due to the 1x4 plate that sticks out of the front, I just like how it looks that way. It's easy enough to swap out to make 24 though.
February 5, 20187 yr I am very impressed! These are some excellent MOCs, and with such high level of detail and accuracy for their scale. Now i'm wondering if you will be making instruction or LDD files available so we can build our own? Also, how 'swooshable' would you say they are? It's often an issue for small MOCs (though it does look quite strong)
February 5, 20187 yr Author I don't know about the ring, since I haven't physically built one, but the fighter itself is very swooshable. No loose parts to speak of. As far as instructions go, there is a pretty good probability of that.

March 25, 20186 yr Hey Icarus, are you likely to upload instructions for the ship and booster ring? I'd love to build one myself! Fantastic compact design.
March 30, 20186 yr Author Hey everyone, finally got instructions up over at Rebrickable. Big thanks to @supertruper1988 for making the instructions. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-13841/IcarusBuilds/ib00001-anakins-delta-7bb-minifig-scale/ I will hopefully be adding the instructions for the ring soon too.
April 2, 20186 yr Hello Icarus, i really really liked Your design so i decided to make colour variation for Boba Fett! Here it is!

Thanks so much for the instructions! I've made Kit Fisto's in LDD and changed the colour scheme up... can't wait to get the pieces to make it!
April 7, 20186 yr Thank you for making the instructions available, I'll have to take a peek at them. I had already reverse engineered your design to fit the pieces I had, so I need to see how much I got right. I'll also try to post a picture sometime soon.
November 30, 20186 yr Are the Hyperdrive rings ever going to be uploaded to rebrickable? If not, I'll probably just build my own variant. I love these so much, I think I'll modify the Cloud City Slave 1 to a Jango Fett color scheme to go with these
November 18, 20195 yr I just bought the instructions for these as I absolutely love them, do you have a parts list for Obi-Wan's, Id like to get the exact pieces you used in the model
April 3, 20204 yr Heyo! Love the builds! I was wondering if you have any part lists for the different kinds of Interceptors, necause the only one I was able to find was the one for Anakin’s Interceptor. Anyway, they really look dope! :)
July 4, 20204 yr This is great! Delta 7Bs are one of my favourite ships, and Lego did a pretty bad job on them. These mocs really look like them. Maybe we will get a more accurate version in 2021, although I wouldn’t count on it. Eta 2s are used in season seven so we probably won’t.
