badchriss Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 Hey Guys, i´m sitting here checking my LDD Parts List of a MOC and wondering what i need and what i might already have from a Set. Is there an easy and Time effective Way to compare the Parts Inventory of a certain Set and the Parts Inventory of a LDD designed MOC to se which Parts the et already contains and which Parts i still need to Order? Like when a Set contains 5 white 2x2 rounded Slopes and the LDD Design contains 10 of the same Piece so that i know i only need to order 5 more from Bricklink or where ever. I hope my Objective is not too confusing. Quote
t-brick Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 Hi, The OpenSource software BrickStock allows you to import set inventory lists from BrickLink (for official sets) and from LDraw files (which can be exported from your own design in LDD). You can then subtract the parts of another set from the ones of your model which leaves you with the missing pieces (ignoring negative numbers). Hope that helps! Quote

Dang it,just tried it and it seems the Set is still too new to have a complete Parts Database on BL :( Quote

There is usually a list of all the parts and quantities. You could at least go through BrickStock and update your list by hand. Quote
