Hello,

I came across as similar design that has been abandon for a while, it was made quite a few years ago and many new pieces are available. So I Decided to Improve upon the design and make the War Hog look better. I will include an old picture of the original looked like and of course the new version.

I think the improvements are very good, I wanted to post this so Others can Enjoy this Warhog as the original had no details about the parts etc. I wanted to provide others details of the parts needed to make them. I have personally made 12 for my Orc Army. I hope others will enjoy the design. All the Gamorreans in my army are from CHINA and PG79 is the code I bought them on AliExpress. And while they are NOT lego quality, they are perfect for the amount of numbers I needed. They work very good for cheaper clones, but the quality is not the same and they use the same plastic for the hands. But I was surprised at how well these turned out they cost me around 60 cents each one! So I was able to make my Orc and Troll Army.

Looks great!  It would be awesome to fit in some of the small ball joints to make the legs movable and the boar somewhat posable, but I like your build here regardless.  Really great job on the shaping of the head in particular.  :classic:

Lego doesn't seem to have much selection on Ball joint pieces. I thought of some other ways to make them movable, but none would look good because of the color or use of plates.  Maybe later Lego will make pieces that could be used for legs or maybe someone here will play around and see if it can be improved on then post. Most of my Lego is for Building Castles bought on bricklink, so I don't have all those odd and end pieces.

When I first seen this model a few months ago I thought it looked the most like a pig, but I felt it was too Blocky, the adjustments are to make it more realistic as is possible with bricks. lol I would love to see Lego make Brown tiles for the ears, I had to use Dark Orange and I had to use Old BROWN for some of the tiles, Lego never made those pieces in Reddish Brown. The cost for one of them on Bricklink for parts is about $6 if you use Black on a couple of those tiles its about $3.50 each Boar.

These look fantastic! I love brick-built animals. It has just enough specific shaping to feel lifelike and yet also enough "blockiness" to fit in with minifigures.

Thanks, I like that Human Brick Model in your post!

I was thinking of Wargs at first, but the Boars seem to fit so much better and are cheaper and not preformed. People forget Warg legs don't move either. lol
