This is a nice building. The overall look of it reminds me a bit of the old fishing store set. The little truck looks nice with this one too.

I always love darker shades of green (the Earth Green window frames in this case) set against more muted greens, but I suppose I would end up saying the same for other such contrasting pairings. And yes, I too think the truck is nice complementing addition to the main build! :classic:

~Impact by Andreas

As cool as this set-up is, I feel that lack of damage on the right side of the two columns just seems a little unrealistic, as I'd think there'd be a bit of a ripple effect causing a degree of damage (at least perhaps cracked/shattered window panes) on that one side.

This Watchman's House is a great example of the beauty that can be achieved on a smaller scale.

And this whole page is amazing as is the whole thread. The wonder and amazement never ceases in here.

The 'street view' car in the Google MOC was a great inclusion. The Grand Palace of Thailand is mind blowing and the first three MOCs on the page are so very different and yet equally incredible. Loving the widely varying styles.

You always find and highlight such fantastic work LegoModularFan, keep it up! :excited:

~Church by anthonymichalhall

Not only does this have an interestingly constructed roof, I didn't immediately recognize those half-wheelwell parts used above the front doors. Clever NPU!  :classic:

A Vanishing Brooklyn by BKNY Bricks

Hmmm, a most intriguing conceptual subject matter for a architectural creation. As the builder puts it:

Quote

A bit of an overly-dramatic title for this work. I was inspired to build this piece based on artist Dylan Goldberger’s amazing concept that he shared a few weeks ago.

Depicted is a typical Brooklyn brownstone building being overtaken and crushed by housing of todays architectural style which presents a stark visual contrast.

I know that this comment dates from long time ago but I just wanted to say that this is also on Flickr in case someone is interested. The version in his city is much taller than the Ideas project BTW.

Saw this new lilac-sided house by Jme Wheeler over on my Flickr feed this evening:

That's one crazy typical @Klikstyle building... I appreciate how Jme tries something new every time!

Gotta agree with this. Not sure if I would ever have started designing my own mocs if it wasn't for the daily dose of inspiration from this page. Good work @LegoModularFan
