JamesJT Posted February 18, 2018 Posted February 18, 2018 (edited) Here are my 1960s Corvettes. 1961 C1, 1963 C2 and 1969 C3. They are all based on this simple buwizz powered chassis. It has a servo for steering and a single L-Motor for drive. Front suspension is like 42039 and the rear is similar to 8081. The C2 and C3 have a shorter wheelbase than the C1 so there are two slightly different version of the chassis. 1961 Corvette C1 1963 Corvette C2 1969 Corvette C3 Edited March 2, 2018 by JamesJT Video added Quote
Leonardo da Bricki Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 Those look incredible! Might have a use for those new dark azure parts... And thanks for the instructions. Quote
1gor Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 C1 is my favorite As I already said few month before it looks very smooth. Very nice work @JamesJT Quote
Minique85 Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 Really nice models, thanks for sharing the instructions. Quote
JamesJT Posted March 2, 2018 Author Posted March 2, 2018 Thanks guys. I have added the C2 video to the OP. Quote
JamesJT Posted March 2, 2018 Author Posted March 2, 2018 All done. 69 C3 video added to the OP. Quote
lcvisser Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 They look awesome together! I think I like the C1 the most. I might try a manual version of it (I thought you had one of the three as a manual version, is that correct?) Thanks for sharing! Quote

There is plenty of room for an engine and maybe a 2 speed gearbox. It would make the build much cheaper too! I also found this on a corvette fan page; all 60s corvettes, all black - WOW! http://www.corvettedepot.com/show-us-your-wheels/all-black-corvette-collection-19541969-bill-m-bradenton-fl/ Quote
dforce Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 These are amazing. Well done! I'm going to have to make a bricklink order or two! Quote
JamesJT Posted October 3, 2018 Author Posted October 3, 2018 I have started another C1 but this time I made it smaller (1:13 scale) and had a go at the 1957 rear. So far the chassis only has steering and I haven't decided if it will be RC yet. bekesizoltan Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Amazing cars! @JamesJT do you have the building instructions? Can I get/buy it somewhere? Quote
technic_addict Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Your collection is awesome! It would really stand out if you swapped the LBG for chrome. Quote

Agreed, it is cute and it all scales nicely with these wheels. 9 hours ago, bekesizoltan said: Amazing cars! @JamesJT do you have the building instructions? Can I get/buy it somewhere? Thank you. All of the 1:10 cars have free instructions on youtube, The links are in the first post. 8 hours ago, technic_addict said: Your collection is awesome! I will be fitting an orange mini V8 when the parts arrive. 57 C1 1 by James Tillson, on Flickr 57 C1 3 by James Tillson, on Flickr Quote
