Governor Mister Phes Posted June 12, 2005 Governor Posted June 12, 2005 If you're easily offended or children are present you don't wanna go here... Otherwise, go here!!! In MisterMattias's Episode 33... thread I asked Jipay " Violence and profanity! What is EuroBricks policy on linking to external sources with such content?" to which he responded " Intentionaly none :^D We are not one of those american over-protective-regarding-their-members community. Here people are responsible for themselves" So any problems with this link, take it up with him! IMPORTANT NOTE: These are not my creations. So if you're looking for someone to sue for damages don't come a knockin on my door!
chewie Posted June 12, 2005 Posted June 12, 2005 well i was not offended by it i have to admit it was a tiny bit funny...but other then that i have nothing to say about it
jonfett Posted June 12, 2005 Posted June 12, 2005 But still Phes, do you really think that this is an appropriate thing to post? :/ It seems to me that the only reason you posted it was so that if one of us complained, you could say that Jipay said it is ok. Seriously, I don't know how this link is useful or compelling to anyone in the forum. Just think about what you post Phes. Jon.
Governor Mister Phes Posted June 12, 2005 Author Governor Posted June 12, 2005 well i was not offended by it i have to admit it was a tiny bit funny...but other then that i have nothing to say about it I obviously did think about it. I put a warning that the content may be offensive, and from my understanding the individual is responsible to which external links they follow. Personally I don't find it amusing but I thought others might. Chewie confirms this theory. If I was trying to make someone complain I would have done far worse, like directly link the pictures in the thread. If people can't heed a warning then deserve to be offended. But if the content is too objectional, delete the thread completely. I'm just doing my bit in contributing to the forum...
Jipay Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 That was soooo funny. I think the story line was a little classic, but still briliant. Damn I can't stop laughing. Anyway... Oh and why don't you use the bikini creation that someone made on brickshelf to add more voume to your female character ?

Anyway... Oh and why don't you use the bikini creation that someone made on brickshelf to add more voume to your female character ? Oh yeah... I forgot to mention that I didn't create these. The link came from a wench I was chatting to on MSN Messenger... I made her have fond memories of her LEGO and she began sharing links to LEGO related things with me. This was one of them. The rest of them were cutsey stuff... But she's got Pirate LEGO so she must be pretty decent. And she loves her LEGO monkey. So much, she wouldn't give it to me! Darn!
xwingyoda Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 What a contribution to these forums Phes :D (and for once i'm not breing ironic !!!) I have to agree with Jipay: in two words ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFL and LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL :D :D I just loved it, its simple, straight to the point and effective and hilarious of course !!!!!!! I think however that the MF (ah yes Phes its an acronym for minifigs that I will post in the appropriate thread ;) ) could be a little better: I was expecting some leather dude and the village people in there :-D :P

Mr. Lego-builder Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 I come home exhausted and find this?!?! What has this world come to?! |-/ :| >:( However, my evil side is laughing his @$$ off! *twisted*

The Middleman Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 I seriously do think this link should be deleted... Jipay, when a kid sees 'do not click this link', they click the link. It's also disrespectful to LEGO in general. I don't think this should be promoted on our forum. Still, it's up to you...
Jipay Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 Jipay, when a kid sees 'do not click this link', they click the link And ? Will he die ? Will he become a bad person ? Don't tell me you never saw anything like this... Well, it's a matter of culture here. It doesn't shock me that much and won't hurt a European kid. Also thinking that a kid that has a free access to internet never tried any www.putapornadresshere.com adress is either being : - awfully naive - way too politicaly correct This thing is lego. It could be considered as bad, but sexuality is part of life itself, it shouldn't be considered as bad. You shouldn't make such a big deal about this link. It's only a funny link, it will disappear as time passes, and eventually you will be able one day to witness it has existed. And please stop to think that child should be protected from everything, and especially the Internet :| PS : and t :| his forum requieres to be 13 to register [fbtb mode on] so if you are under 13, please call your parents and register with them after reading all the policy[/fbtb mode off]. Naaahh register anyway
Governor Mister Phes Posted June 13, 2005 Author Governor Posted June 13, 2005 But she's got Pirate LEGO so she must be pretty decent. And she loves her LEGO monkey. So much, she wouldn't give it to me! Darn! Ahah, that doesn't suprise me at all ! Was she australian ? Yes, she was. Still is in fact! The controversy of this thread has kicked in! If a kiddie was to click that link and view those images, would they actually know what was going on in them anyway? At a certain age they're going to be recieving some sexual education. I think that started for me in year 4 but it was a lot more realistic than these images. They used video and photographs as I recall... Even if they had some idea what was happening, how interesting would it be to them? Would they be curious enough to look at all the pictures? Or would they think its stupid and stop looking after seeing the series of pictures? I can't see how it would appeal enough to young children to entice them to pay any attention to the actual content. Are there any child psychologists or paedatricians here that can provide some insight? Besides, I don't think the Porn Theme would really take off amongst children! Its also the parents responsiblity to ensure they take the measures to prevent their children from viewing anything unsuitable on the Internet. There are countless programs available for filtering out unsuitable websites and this one would definitely be filtered because of "porn" in its title. Of course even without a filter program they could still inadvertantly launch a graphic porn site advertisement. All they need do is search for a computer game in Google, click on a link to a Warez site (which will most likely be included in the results, I.e. for cracks and cheats relating to the game) and usually a few porn adds will pop up as the site loads. Besides, can we confirm that many young children view this site? The youngest I've seen so far is 12. Some have suggested younger do view, but they don't post. I don't see why not, young children post frequently on the LEGO.com messages boards. So why wouldn't they the same here?
Sarg_Kulo Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 LOL This is the one of the funniest things I've seen. I'm with you all the way jipay. I'm a poet and... ef that
Governor Mister Phes Posted June 17, 2005 Author Governor Posted June 17, 2005 Its 50/50 here! Half think its hilarious and the other half disapprove!
Mr. Lego-builder Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 Its 50/50 here!Half think its hilarious and the other half disapprove! Same here...
Governor Mister Phes Posted June 18, 2005 Author Governor Posted June 18, 2005 Its 50/50 here!Half think its hilarious and the other half disapprove! Same here... What you mean by "same here"? I'm completely indifferent about the linked images. Neither offended nor humoured by them.
Governor Mister Phes Posted June 18, 2005 Author Governor Posted June 18, 2005 That's pussy talk! My next website link is going to be even more shocking! And that one is going in the Castle & Pirate Forum after everyone loses interest in this one.

I'm completely indifferent about the linked images. Neither offended nor humoured by them. I see. I'm not too offended, yet I don't think it is funny. So I guess, I'm really toward the "bad" perspective of the site.
