Rodsh: So? What do you think?

Cathy: Think?, It’s just some hideous abandoned house.

R: I bought it.

C: What? Why would you do that?

R: To use as a house.

C: For whom? We’ve a ship!

R: I Thought you’d like it.

C: Like it? Did you got hit with a 2x2 brick in the head or something? It hasn’t got a scrape of paint on it. It’s completely overgrown with some poisonous vine. Not to mention the strangler bush over there!

R. Poisonous? it got nice flowers

C: DO you even have more then one stud in that brain of yours?!

R: It can be painted you know. and some gardener can take down that vine.

C: Well I’m not living there. I’d rather sail before the mast on an Oleon Order ship.

C. How much did you pay for it anyway?

R. Just five Doubloons.

C. I’m going back to the ship. We are sailing tomorrow, we've got a ball to attent remember.

OOC. I was experimenting with building a vine on a wall. and with the current grey scale challenges on the web in my mind, this was the result. The story followed soon after, and then I decided it was worth the post on here.
And yes I did this because I got stuck with the water issue on the moc I had planned, (see shipwright thread)

Great landscaping indeed ... I was unaware we had such elegant forgotten dwellings in bastion and 5db what a steal lol ... I like the other detail elements you incorporated achitecturally ... Of course we should see the revamped estate after paint and vine removal and cathys approval ... Strike that accept... Tolerance? Of the home lol

Thank you both.

Maybe it's not really the style originally set out for Bastion. but as it seems to be, there is hardly any building activity there anyway. And I feel that in any other fraction town, the Mayor would have demolished it, rather then letting it stand to be forgotten.

Maybe I'll try my hand at refurbishing. but one of the reasons I went for grey is that I couldn't decide on a colour scheme, and I wanted the vine to be the eye-piece. And grey really helps giving it the abandoned look. (together with the blacked out windows.)
