Though I can't even get to the point where hull sections might get destroyed since the plates are connected by so little and to much resistant with the ball and socket. Quote
bricksmarlin Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 You have to support this ball joints with some extra plates! I first attached the ball joints to the cockpit, separated the cockpit into two parts, and then reassembled it on the model! I have the upper side walls attached last, so you can see the ball joints! In addition, you have at least some space for your hands! Sorry for the bad English ball joints seperate in two pieces And some more pics Quote

I hadn't thought of the strengthen part yet so thanks for that. Will try to attach tonight and study pictures when I get home from movies. Quote

Bricksmarlin; how did you attach the plates here, can’t see the half pin, yet on mine it looks very noticeable. Thanks for your help. Quote

Redbird11 Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 no the printed tiles are just how you can personalize the interior, the instructions just have plain bricks. Be aware that there are some key pieces that are sold out on Bricklink and Lego, namely Reddish Brown 4215b (x93), I purchased 2362b (x183). Finally the linear actuators to lower the front door was not included in my parts list, I was able to find them for $10 US. Quote

But, there are 3 rechargeable batteries, 6 XL motors, 2 M motors and 3 IR receivers installed! Battery 1 --- all LEDs are directly connected to this battery Battery 2 --- is connected to receiver 1 --- Receiver 1 controls 4 XL motors ( tracks right side, left side / 2 motors on one output)! Battery 3 --- is connected to receiver 2 and receiver 3 --- Receiver 2 controls 2 XL motors for the main hatch (both on the same output) --- Receiver 3 controls 2 M motors (winch on output 1 / conveyor belt on output 2)!
