Hello everyone,
as announced in the last few months I want to start this month with my European tour

I wanted to complete my train collection by making at least one locomotive for each main European country, not yet covered by my MOCs.
Today I will start from Portugal with a replica of Sergio Batista's CP2600

I have chosen this model because I've always liked the orange livery with white stripes and the particular upside-down windscreen

The model is equipped with lights and a switch hidden under the body

Very nice model of an interesting engine! Really like how you did the buffers and the dark bluish grey grill on the side of the engine!

Already waiting for your next model

Very nice rendition and mod of sergio's model !!! What I like so much about your builds, is the preference for European models.

I'm guessing your next models could be Belgian, Dutch, French, Spanish, British/Irish or Scandinavian.

Do you happen to have the LDD file? ;)

I like it very much! To the point i am willing reverse engineer it asap.

Could anyone tell the part name used for front / rear windows?

Really nice build! I'd really like to see how you made that micro offset for the doors... That looks really interesting!

Oh thanks, I use that building technique when I can :classic:

Nice initiative, well done! This one is an icon, so many great details, and some of them hard to come by, I think this one came before the horizon express, it was not easy to get the orange bricks no? :) The creator of this beautiful locomotive with some years in the bricks already, has in my opinion the best work by far of Portuguese railroad history, and one of the best worldwide "train master builders" with the attention to detail. Constructions like these inspire others like me, to try and do a version they like. So, kudos to you Sérgio Baptista, "és grande, caral..."!

Um abraço, Rafael Costa

It has almost been a month :o I'm so curious to see your next creation. The fact that you have such a variaty of builds and locomotives from different countries is great.

All sorts of difficult angles conquered on this MOC (half plate offset on the side grills?), so many details nailed

Thanks Zephyr for your compliments ...half plate offset for the side grills and for the doors too
