The infamous pirate Gregory Decker was pursued by Oleon vessels for several days consecutive. The pirate captain, with most of his ships sank or captured, had no other thought than get away from his pursuer at any cost, even if he had to abandon his flagship and his crew to the imperials.
Here we can see our Captain Decker using a rowboat to transfer his treasure chests on board of a pirate schooner.

Alas, the crew of the schooner had to lower the sails to get the captain and his treasure on board, this offered an excellent opportunity to an Oleon two-decker to shorthen the distance between them.

-Hoist the sails, me hearties, we must not let those amateurs catch us! said Gregory Decker.

On board of the Oleon warship:
- "We can't catch them, captain, they are too fast!" said a midshipman.
- "Man the guns!" replied the Oleon captain.
- "But they are out of chasers' range now."
- "Not the chasers, I want a full broadside!, man the guns and right full rider! " from the quarterdeck, the old captain with grey beard has quickly evaluated the situation and ordered a bold move.

When the smock was dispersed, the pirate schooner has lost all its masts.

A rowboat full of fusiliers marins was lowered to board the immobilized schooner.

C&C are welcome, the schooner will be licensed as a class 3 boat.

Nicely done! - great ships, and excellent portrayal of an exciting event in the world of BoBS! :pir-sweet:  My favorite detail on the schooner is definitely the raked masts, that just adds so much

Nice pair of ships !

The schooner is great, to bad it is dismasted

I like the schooner, the rake is excellent.
Personally I feel like the lego prefab basses in combination with the CGH tumblehome technique isn't suitable for a two decker. But don't let me stop anyone.
The story is well done. I hope we will hear somewhere the fate of the poor mister Decker.

Awesome ships @Bodi! Great details and nicely narrated story!

Great story good show on the pirates part.  The ships are both well built

Wonderful ships and story! As others have pointed out, the rake of the masts really makes the schooner.

And I always wondered what Gregory Decker looked like. Now I know. :pir-grin:

Will we see anything of Decker's fate in an upcoming build?

The ship builds are awesome, and the story is well told. Loving it!

Same question from me: what will Oleon do with Decker? I hope for a continuation!

I really enjoyed the story and I find that schooner extremely well  built!

Thank you Garm! I noticed practically all schooners had raked masts, so I thought I had to the masts that way.:classic:

Thank you Bart, glad you like the boat.

For the twodecker, a custom hull should have worked better, prefabs are too narrow for a ship of this size, but for a debutant shipbuilder like me, they were easier and quicker to build.

And don't worry for that mister Decker, he's in our prison now, and you'll see the second part of the story soon.:pir_tong2:

Thank you BD! You know my English is quite poor and I struggle more in writing than building, so I'm glad you enjoyed the story.

Really nice schooner, Bodi. As others have said, the raked masts are a nice touch, and I like the thin stripes of red and black. I also enjoyed your story and had no trouble following it despite English not being your first language.

Yes, I did! Nice job incorporating those for a really nice hull shape!
