@Peppermint_M Before I get started, I would like to know, is a Lego base required/wanted to model the terrain for the vehicle? Or should it be just the vehicle, with no backdrop/base? Thanks!

You can make one if you like but it isn't a requirement.

My vehicle can expand, and when it expands it is longer than the explorers' vehicles. Is that okay?

If the expansion is something functional like an awning, or a rack for equipment etc that then fits back to make it smaller, then it is fine. (It also sounds pretty cool)

@Peppermint_M, just a question about the build. It was stated the build need not be as tall or as low...will a double-decker vehicle be too much?

Thanks!

On that wheelbase it would likely tip over! I think that would be a bit much...

Posted mine just now! having some issues with embedding the photo so have put link and pic in post! I am on an ancient mac and it doesn't seem to let me pos the image in the thread. I think I am being stupid! Any help would be much obliged!

EDIT: Fixed it! logged in on a pc and it worked a treat! :) stooped old mac!

I took a look at the builds. They are very nice. I was hoping to enter but didn't find the time. I was planning on doing a walker of some kind. Looks like no one went that route.
