"The tracks lead away from the battle! Into… Fangorn Forest."
"Fangorn! What madness drove them in there?"

As a follow up to a "The Three Hunters" I built back in August 2017, I decided to build the borders of Fangorn in January, and so I did. This is the result.
Personally one of my favourites that I have built, and I'm especially pleased with the round border and the trees.

Great little piece of that scene!  The smoldering fire is nicely done, and the trees are great.

Thanks, much appreciated!

Yep! Make sure you get to ten posts quick so you can maximize the benefits of using EB, I got my account back in mid 2016, but didn't really use it until early 2017, because of the ten post rule. :)

colorscheme is lovely & those trees are very organic looking, superb job on that!

I really like those minifigs! How did you make those?

Just kidding..

Very detailed MOC of that scene

Even if you used generic figures, that Aragorn kicking the Uruk helmet and that smoldering pile of death is instantly recognizable to a fan of the movies

The crossing from plains to forest is also nicely done with those trees
