Hi Community,

I'm trying to resolve the construction of a pyramid type corner without using slopes, with each layer in two directions only stepping back either 1LDU or 0.5LDU whilst maintaining vertical alignment of face tile joints. Photos show what I'm trying to do but failing to keep the vertical tiles in alignment. Ahhh. This is doing my head in.

What do you mean exactly? The plates that are sticking out the back?

If you think about this a bit, you'll realize it's not possible to make the step in two directions while also keeping the tiles aligned. They are going to shift by the same interval as the steps. If your construction has steps in multiples of 20, then the offset will eventually "realign," but you will not be able to fill in the gaps.
