z3_2drive Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 Love it, but I agree the diffuser, or at least the panels on the side, look out of place. Have you tried flipping them upside down? I don't have those in my hand so I can't picture it. I actually really like how the back looks with it completely removed. Try replacing the 24t gear with a black one, and take a picture directly from the rear, I'm sure there's a way to hide it and still look really clean. Quote
offroadcreations Posted April 28, 2018 Author Posted April 28, 2018 (edited) Thanks everyone! @Leonardo da Bricki Here ya go: On 4/26/2018 at 7:44 PM, z3_2drive said: Have you tried flipping them upside down? I don't have that part, and no offense, but I don't really feel like getting it just for this car, which I'm disassembling soon. Edited April 28, 2018 by Offroadcreat1ons Quote

It gives a completely different wheel-engine gear ratio. It changes by a factor 5. But maybe it gives a more realistic engine rpm. Quote

Leonardo da Bricki Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 Looks a lot better this way, nice work! And it's not worth buying the one black gear, I considered it for my current WIP model, but no, not worth it. Quote

What if you would combine it with connecting the drive shaft to the right side of the gear box, that is the 12t gear side instead of the 20t gear side? Quote

I just don't know if those would be the same output. Quote
