I decided that the best thing to do with my Buzz Droid was to put it on my UCS fighter model. Darth Vader's Tie Advanced was a wonderful set, but I thought it needed some "pizazz" to get it going for display. I tried Vader in the cockpit, and it didn't work out due to flaws with the seat. However, no matter how untrue to the plot it is, I decided that an awesome display would be by putting an Episode III Buzz Droid onto an Episode IV ship.

Looking good, if you ask me! Many complained about the size of the droid compared to minifig ships, however, I think this fits just perfectly. The saw doesn't seem to drastically huge anymore, and due to the many angles with studs, you can pose the droid on many parts of various ship's bodies. This will work on many ships, however, the Y-Wing would probably be the next closest ship (there is a big gap between the Y-Wing and anything else other than non-bley models). I'm sure that a couple of them would look awesome on your models- just an idea to fellow Eurobrick members.

If you want to test it, the Buzz Droid is overall easy to build and can be made with a few simple pieces. Though you won't have the stenciling on the "ears", you can just imagine that you are using the official model. Put it on, and see for yourself. If you like it, maybe a couple of them off of Ebay or from your own collection would really compliment this set.

(Could someone help? The picture system doesn't work with my pictures, and I'd really like to show.)

Sorry, we're all out of server space at the moment. You'll need to host it somewhere else.

It looks pretty good on models, though it sticks out. I might put it on Brickshelf for all to see. On the Tie Advanced, I put it in the "wing indents" (on the grey wing pieces, 4X9, between the grey and dark grey pieces. The saw fits perfectly in there. Also, it seems to benefit from being on an odd angle- a tilted angle just above the cockpit, tearing into the front. Also, due to the plating, you can hang it upside down on the ship. But usually, I put it on the "wiring" at the back of the ship. It "digs" its saw into the various nooks and cranies. All in all, if placed right, it doesn't look like a battle droid hanging off of a diving ship. :p

Edit: Here, I got some on Brickshelf. There are only two pictures so far, but I'll add more eventually. It sticks out a bit, but I think it still looks pretty cool. Also, I found a load of flame pieces and showed all the possible locations on which a Tie Advanced UCS can hold flame pieces. Also, the construction of the buzz droid if you're planning on making a homebrew one. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=307182

Anyone have any other ideas/want to suggest anything for me to do to show people how to deal with your UCS models?

Fire and Buzz Droids have been covered.
