May 1, 20186 yr @Elostirion Thanks, you see some nice shifts when you look per ship. interesting. I think its a great idea to make town income to the town bank not dependable from the number of properties in town but of the trade (in what ever form) debateable ofcourse as it may hinder hamlet's a bit. But now towns (or faction) hardly use taxes so that might be a thing to do then. Bart @Drunknok fun note on the labour day: In the Netherlands it is not a holiday, if you tell it to a random person on the street they will think you are crazy celebrating that you have to work. @Elostirion Thanks, you see some nice shifts when you look per ship. interesting. May 1, 20186 yr Damn, you told my secret of Kieg! Now I have to find a new port to visit every second MRCA
May 1, 20186 yr Author Very cool data! Thanks E! One thing I'd like to see is the revenue per ships considering only the cargo ships -- subtract out the ships that earned 0 DBs, because those are either ships that have no cargo space or returned to the port they started from (or ships that sprang a leak and were diverted from their intended destination); in both cases they are likely warships. I think imposing port taxes is a logical step for large settlements. But should they be taxes on revenue, or simply a flat fee to dock? With the former, escorts and other warships can call for free; with the latter, all the escorts of a large trade fleet are also taxed.

I'd leave this up to factions/settlements themselves. But I would also like to see some default feedback from trade to settlements to give them a reason to try to attract more shipping.
May 1, 20186 yr I did an analysis for the previous two MRCAs, if that is what you want I might find some time tomorrow. Also a comparison to the previous months could be interesting?

I've taken care of transferring the vessels. If you license vessels without a link (captures or faction vessels), please use either your faction thread or some other pinned topic - those are blacklisted and automatically change to "not Mocced".

Thank you, will do. Should I change it for HMS Perseus or is that done already?
