Very minor spoiler for Solo below, but relevant.

Very much like this set for what it is, but having seen Solo, I do wish that it had been more Mimban-themed than Corellia. From my initial viewing I counted only one patrol trooper in the whole film, the exact same one seen in the trailers, giving chase to Han and Moloch on Corellia. Fundamentally, the patrol troopers are the least significant of the new troop variants featured in the film, with the mudtrooper design arguably having the most screen time. As much as I do like this set, I don't feel the same about it now having seen the film and now knowing that the patrol troopers played the least 'pivotal' role in the film of the new troop designs introduced. [/spoilers]

Indeed. I think this supports my point about this set being more of a starter/suplementary set for the Solo-line rather than a classical army builder.

They could have included a Patrol Trooper with the Han Solo speaker instead of the hound. Then this battle pack could have something else, like mud troopers.

In that case the Patrol Trooper and his bike were needed. I mean, this would be a really nice set too, but it would also be a more expensive and quite different set. The basic line-up as it is works for me: this battle pack and the two speeders. If anything it is a too great emphasis on a certain part of the movie.

But then, I want another walker set with the new walker (seen in the trailers, so no spoiler) and some troopers. This would be a nice addition to the current line, and walkers always sell (unless they are incomplete...).

just going off of my knowledge of the movie, and no spoilers...

i haven't seen those troopers in the commercials and trailers yet. all i've seen is range troopers, and these aren't anything like them. the helmets look useful, though....

So, according to the Solo Visual Guide, the 'emigration officer' included in this set is just an armoured navy trooper. The emigration officers are the ones with brown tunics, as seen in the film.

i would definitely get the set for the troopers but i would prefer a more solo related trooper to the officers

They are featured in the trailers, actually to the point that most of their screentime was seen in the trailers... e.g.:

Just call it Corellia Highway Patrol set, and we are fine. Of course a Mimban battlepack would have made more sense but it is still a good set.

Yes, Lego's "emigration officer" is clearly mislabelled. Perhaps there were some changes or communication problems; the actual emigration officer looks quite different. It's a bit sad that we did not get her since she had a somewhat notable role in that Corellia scene. Lego's armoured navy trooper is hardly in the movie but at least it's a nice figure. Other than that the Corellia part of the movie is reasonably well represented and we got most of what we need to moc it.

Great review, thanks. Totally agree regarding the need for imperial officers to have dual molded legs. The addition of this makes them look so much better. Hope lego will make this change at some point.
