MoC landing platform

I’m working on a  4’x3’ landing pad and could use a little direction if anyone knows a good design for pylons to raise it off the ground. This thing is huge and I figure I will need 8 or 9 supports. Pics coming soon . Thanks

have you tried part 6259? its pretty sturdy and has some room on the inside for extra support.

I have some of them to try. Here is a pic: it’s 8x6 16x16 plates

So I cannot decide to elevate the landing surface on pylons (which will require double the amount I intended) or make the landing surface more reminiscent of 327. I’m having trouble with drooping around the edges which i know could be fixed with another layer of plates but....that’s a pita and I might need to buy more parts. Thanks for the input!

A non Lego support would be more sturdy (depending on what you want to put up there) and most likely cheaper.

Here are some updates. I reworked the inner structure to make it more sturdy 

also I’ve started tiling. If anyone has sugestions in that department plz chime in. And thx for looking
