Holodoc Posted May 18, 2018 Author Posted May 18, 2018 Now it's getting really tough. You've got to squeeze your brains to receive 3 points. MstrOfPppts, here's your chance to balance the scoreboard without stealing the points me writing down the wrong numbers. Quote
Aredhel Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 The chain is 8cm long (just guessing not measuring)... Quote
Lasse D Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 It is not clear, but if the chain is old dark gray in that picture, then it is in LDraw color #8. Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 If you remove 15 links, there are exactly 8 links in the chain! Quote
mechamike Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 You can (Lego legally) create the figure 8 with that part if you snap it together and arrange it nicely on the table Quote
elleana Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 (Probably scratching the bottom of the barrel but) the Bricklink part number is 30104, if you add the digits together you will get 8. Quote

Quarryman Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 It's nice to see that this year's countdown is less of a steamroller affair, three different people have scored the three points so far. And a bit of a stretch (or a yank perhaps, since it's a chain), but the first year that part was released it was included in 8 different sets in Dark Gray (seems I missed a set where it was included in Black, making my answer worse ) with normal distribution (10 sets in total, but one's a duplicate of another, and one is a Dacta set so not something most of us would see in a store). MstrOfPppts Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 What does this piece have to do with 10?! - Before realising that this year it's not about 10s but days remaining :) Why did I have to check the previous countdowns ... Quote

That's why I also included the numbered tiles to the picture. Quote Parts, which have a special relation to the days left. ... and the 10's were 4 years ago! Quote
Skalldyr Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 7 Studs on top are without a molding mark so that you can read a complete "LEGO" Also 2x4x1 studs if you add these numbers together you get 7 Also 2,32 g weight if you add these numbers together you get 7 Also there are 7 categories for these typ of brick "3001" on Bricklink Quote
Holodoc Posted May 19, 2018 Author Posted May 19, 2018 Okay, okay it was too easy... Quote 7 Studs on top are without a molding mark so that you can read a complete "LEGO" Right answer, 3 points! Actually I think it was kinda difficult to come up with the "studs" idea and I was totally thinking you mean something else... but I won't complain. For the 3001 molds. There is the regular one plus the 6 other molds. So in total there are 7. Quote

Skalldyr Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 6 cm high while standing as seen in your picture. From feet to ears. (Which is also close to 6 studs.) Also seems to be 6 cm long while standing extended on his back feet. Measured from front feet to tail. (But I can not tell exactly...) Quote
L@go Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 This is one of six LEGO moulded fully-grown System horses produced: 93083, 4493, 6171, 10352 (this one), Bullseye from Toy Story, and the Scala horse. It also first turned up in a set six years ago - in 2012. And - I'm not with my LEGO collection at the moment, so I can't check... but if there's an anti-stud under its left front hoof, it has a total of six stud connection points: One under each hoof, and two for the saddle. Finally, I think the horse itself might, at the factory, be put together from six different moulds: Left and right side of the head, left and right side of the body, and left and right side of the legs. Redhead1982 Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 So I'm up and online before 8, and I'm already late to this guessing game. Quote
