Ngoc Nguyen Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 I've just thought that maybe this time the hazard light won't control the steering, but instead the tilting. And the exhaust pipe is the actual HOG steering knob. Quote

However, I think that the beacon controls the raising (there's indeed a shaft under it) and the small lever on the side the tilting (what else could it be for?). Quote

I meant the hazard light is for lifting the fork, and the exhaust pipe is for steering. Tilting is most likely done with the side lever of course. Quote
Ivan_M Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 Don't know if it was mentioned already, but it seems like diffrential on front axle Quote

Ngoc Nguyen Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 I find it weird that the front arch is close to the front wheel, but the rear ach isn't to the rear wheel. Quote
agrof Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 It is because the rear wheels need some extra space for steering. Quote
Bartybum Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 So like no travel on the forklift. What a damn shame Quote

It’s good that it doesn’t appear to use any special pieces I don’t have yet, so I could MOC this with a proper forklift arm. I suspect it was done like so for the B model to have an arm. arijitdas Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 (edited) I am really looking forward to build this set using my existing lego part provided it does not use any special parts. I am sure it will be interesting to build both the A and B model of this set. I have a feeling that the B model might turn out to be more fun that building the A model. Bartybum Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 Might be worth a try to hook up the winch to a cable drum powered by the worm gear that that winds up as the fork rises. Quote
N-4K0 Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 The B-model looks surprisingly good for what it is, I think. My original plan was to buy 42080 and MOC the forklift since I have more parts than I really need already, but I keep getting more tempted to just buy the forklift as well, as usual Quote
