paul_delahaye Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 Ironically this is one of those sets that would have really benefitted from being a licensed set (at least from a colour point of view). also a bit diappointing there is no way to motorise the blade. I would have rather seen this model as a Tigercat tracked fellow buncher instead, And the B model, I question if they should have bothered. Quote

That B-model is one ugly sucker. I'm reminded of 42008's B, especially where the mangled shape due to the battery box is concerned. Quote
Erik Leppen Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 B model has in dark-orange or orange (in the front bottom). Quote
Maaboo the Witch Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 I'M BLIND! Nope, sorry, just had my eyes closed. Anyway, this set is theoretically interesting. There's some new colours like @Erik Leppen pointed out, and hopefully the functions do their job. Quote
Johnny1360 Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Well now that I have finally seen the B model, I have to agree with everyone else, it's absolutely hideous, laughable even. I guess I'm okay with that though since I rarely build the B model, not that it matters or TLG gives a rats megablocks what I think. I still think it's odd they include accessories with sets that have no figures to. Pretty sure I will be getting this set, need more pneumatics and the new valve will be nice to have, wonder how many are in this set. Hopefully it's not to painful to my wallet. Thanks for posting the pictures to, glad to finally see official pics. Quote

Ngoc Nguyen Posted June 30, 2018 Author Posted June 30, 2018 In the top view in the schematic, the bottom wheel of the last axle sticks out further than other wheels o.O I hope this does not exist in the real model. Quote

conceitedguy Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 Everyone's real down on the colors on this model, but the only really egregious thing to me is the use of red bushings in prominent places on the side (mostly on the wheels). Everything else is just the normal color-coding, which I usually kinda filter out... Quote

Jockos Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 I still can't figure it out how the saw will be able to cut the logs... I have a feeling that it just stays in one place and can't even move forward... Quote

WvG_853 Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 I was surprised about the price of this set. It is more expensive than I thought. I had expected it to be cheaper than the 42081 Volvo set, although it is motorised and has pneumatics ... Quote

allanp Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 £150?! I don't think it'll be that much, at least I hope not. Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted July 5, 2018 Author Posted July 5, 2018 There's no way 129.99 EUR / 149.99 USD translates into £150 Quote
Maaboo the Witch Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 Just what I've heard. I cite The LEGO Car Blog. https://thelegocarblog.com/tag/42080/ Whoop, just rechecked the article. It says $150. I did think £150 was too steep. Quote
