Posted May 23, 20186 yr Lego have tweeted about a tv show that looks to be focussing on Lego Castle. See here: The Toys That Made Us sounds interesting, so I know I'll watch if I can, although it may be difficult from England.
May 23, 20186 yr This will likely cover LEGO as a whole. The show covers a variety of toy brands, a different one in each episode. It's worth a watch.

Yes you're quite right, I was unfamiliar with it and just went by the teaser because I was at work. They'll definitely touch upon Castle though, as seen in the trailer; and like you said it's looks to be worth a watch.
May 23, 20186 yr Thanks for sharing - looks interesting! I think castle, with its minifigures and accessories has a massive impact for Lego as a toy. Extending its range and horizon of possibilities. Just like space has as well.
May 24, 20186 yr Interesting! The fact that they're giving Castle significant airtime like this is a good sign. Between this and Mark Stafford seeming to say that Lego is not making a World of Warcraft theme, I think we should be hopeful for Castle's return in the near future.

Could you provide some more details on that, please? I'd like to read it. Who is Mark Stafford?

The first half of the series are available on Netflix UK (Star Wars, G.I.Joe, Barbie and He-Man) so I would hope the second half of the series will appear as well, hopefully at the same time it goes up on Netflix US. As well as Lego there will be episodes on Transformers, Hello Kitty and Star Trek.

I greatly enjoyed watching all of the episodes, including the Barbie focused episode. I think I'll really enjoy the second season as well. Of course, the LEGO Episode is probably the one I've been looking forward to the most, but the others should all be entertaining as well. And it drops tomorrow, that will be great!

He's really the only Lego designer who posts on EB. Over in the Overwatch thread he said that Blizzard and Lego have plans for the future, but clarified that he was only talking about Overwatch when he was asked if what he said related to World of Warcraft in any way. I don't think he would have hinted at additional Blizzard properties with that statement, because designers have to keep everything confidential.
May 25, 20186 yr I just watched the episode. While it was a really cool exploration of the history of LEGO, it did not spend much time discussing Castle. Still, I recommend this series to all.
