Boy we are a very opinionated and vociferous bunch of AFOLs aren’t we?  The recent leaks and hi-res photos of the upcoming sets have really sent this forum into a feeding frenzy.  We seem to all have girded our loins and prepared for battle. It’s like we are waiting for World War III to break out on June 1st.  One thing is for sure, there is no lack of passion for our hobby amongst this crew of introverts, miscreants, and techno geeks.  I think the only thing left is if we started eating our own young, but we still have time for that between now and the next big reveal (or leak).

Seems we have a whole camp full of teams to choose from as we pick sides:

We have Team Vomit, Team Anti-vomit, Team System, Team Anti-system, Team Color Diversity, Team Monochrome, Team Function, Team Form, Team Panel Hole, Team Smooth as Silk, Team Supercar, Team Anything but another Supercar, Team Crane, Team Crawler, Team Buggy motor, Team 2L Motors, Team Studded, Team Studless, Team 8880, Team 42056, Team Buwizz, Team SBrick, Team IR (yay!), Team Connector, Team flexi-axle, Team 3rd Party, Team Purist, Team Up, Team Down, Team Left, Team Right, Team Wrong.

So where do you fall? I can tell you we all fall into Team Technic and that’s just about right where I want to be. Technic Lego is my drug of choice.

Hi, my name is Bublehead, and I have been sober for 10 minutes.

Welcome to Technoholics Anonymous Bublehead, glad to have you.

Well I guess you should change the title to Vociferous 'FOLs and World War III

Some of us TFOLS see the Sets as the target audience, we don't always complain. Reason being they can appeal to those around 13. The Bugatti is anyone's opinion. That is a "16+" Set, that is up for you to decide. The set also is 359 dollars! That should be perfect everywhere. A lot of people like the Bugatti too, not all complaints. Now , wait till the replies pool. I think this will be over soon. we just need to do something, like even a non prize contest to cool everyone down. it will be calm soon.

My apologies to the “other than an Adult” fans of Lego...

Team Anti-Sticker, whose standard I carry with righteous pride.

Wow, how could I have forgot Team Anti-sticker, (or Team Printed Parts, or Team Sticker for that matter?)

LEGO is a toy... sure, but to most of us here it has grown way bigger than a toy on the shelf.  A lot of us have quite the collection of parts and pieces that get messed around with from time to time.  I do not see an issue with that, but my bank account does haha.

Anyway, you are right, we all have own likes and dislikes about the hobby.

I am the no color vomit, monocolor, heck no to stickers, RC all the time, Team Sbrick, team let me see those gear, not panels... guy.

Thanks to lot of new cool sets more AFOLs are getting out of their DA, which results in them getting into LEGO communities and discussing stuff. More people + each one with his set of different opinions = result we have now in the forum.

Don't forget "Team Lego Is For Children", "Team Purist", "Team Why It's Not Frontpaged Yet", "Team Whatever Happened To All The Fun In The World", "Team HOF!!!!11''".

Edit: appearently I'm in the "Team Drunk Post Without Actually Being Drunk"... I guess the main member of the "Team Let's Merge This Topic Into The Technic Pub Topic" will soon act.

You totally missed Team Longer Pneumatics and Team More Pneumatics.

Also Team Why Doesn't My Realistic 5 Speed Gearbox Perform Well In My Rock Crawler Which Can Also Go 25km/h And Has Opening Doors.

I am in Team flexless, Team eliminate all unnecessary friction, Team Pythagorean triples, quadruples and their whole-number-incircles, Team freestyle (vs. Team replica), Team form-locking, Team WIP-topic over MOC-topic and accept you will never be front-paged or PRO-tagged.

I'd like to sign up for team "if you don't like it, quit your whining and do it yourself".

Because, you know, it's Lego.

Also, you have forgotten to include team "will keep this for some time here, and then move it to the community forum or to our Pub".

AMS-2 is currently on, if you haven't noticed. It's a friendly, non-prize contest that anyone can enter.

I may be the only one here, but I really don't get the point of this topic, as comparing a bunch of (mostly) guys being thrilled about plastic toy bricks in a corner of the internet with one of the worst things happened to mankind (world war) is not my type of humor. But with saying this, I will probably be berated for moaning about trivialities on the interwebs. I may be complaining about the complaining right now, but at least the color vomit topic is actually about our shared hobby. This here topic just seems to want to throw fuel on the fire (as most of the topics it seems to refer to, have already calmed down a bit). Sorry, I fail to see the fun in that. :look: (Though I'm sure someone will laugh about my post. Well, whatever floats your boat.)

Also, not sure what introvertedness has to do with anything.
