I saw your model years ago when looking (perhaps) to find some solutions for my Fastrac 3230 years ago...as you can see my previous design is also not perfect, but it was long ago...and we have new parts etc

This time I have managed to build desired right door, but look for your self (it was inspired by one MOC in lime built by @Pat-Ard )

Finally I have made cab + chassis with details that I want, so you can see end result; specially happy with right door...

Now I only have to make suitable attachment for it...

Any ideas are welcome... unfortunately rear Mulag attachment was not good in last version so I'm in a kind of dilemma right now...

I found a bunch of different attachments and variants in Unimog's brochures on official website here. Also I found a bunch of different websites of Unimogs and different models of it when I did the research for mine. A lot of them are old Unimogs but maybe it will inspire you. Here are the links:

First of all thank you for links. Just got info my father worked few years in Gaggenau on U406 production, so perhaps one day I'll build it. I was looking for something more modern like under your first link and it has to be something for street (moc has tires with on-road pattern) like Mulag attachment on deck...Crane idea is reserved for one future model U4023 with different tire than truck tire, but that is future...and now thanks to you I know the correct term - mowing door (for door at right side).

There is something interesting with airport usage, but most are like municipal winter service or road cleaning g service...

Ladies and gentlemen,

Here is final version of (my) Unimog U423. It is made in 1:15 scale. But before I upload images (of questionable quality), there are some members who deserve to be mentioned because they help me in the directly or indirectly (when they made public some solutions that I was working on like @Thirdwigg who made similar 3 way tipper), @jorgeopesi, @Pat-Ard, @jrx, @efferman...who all often discuss with me about possible solutions, and there is always good friend @Leonardo da Bricki.

Except 3 way tipper there is rack and pinion steering (moved one stud to the right not to be in the way of drivetrain) which uses just two bevel gears to transmit rotation from HOG to gear rack and thanks to optimized weight works light-handed enough. But enough of talk, here are images:

Thanks, honestly I really miss those wheels and certainly current price is no help at all...and current 62.4 can be used on trailers to fit this scale...

After short brake I'll go to next project - JCB Fastrac 4220.

Very very nice Mog-MOC ;) It's built in interesting scale. In my opinion the right door looks a little better than the left one. Somehow the panel seems to high in my view. Have you tried the smaller panel (same length)? Beside from this it is a really cool Unimog! Well done @I_Igor!

Ladies and gentleman, 

after long time I have some progress on my JCB Fastrac, but first I'll show specification images from brochure on which is my model based because I always have problem with tires width (I know that there are lot of you who face the same problem). My inspiration was model with 710/60r30 tires and wheels track 2000 which gives overall maximal width 2700mm. In 1:15 scale that fits CLAAS tires perfectly and it is a little less than 22 studs wide (it can also fit into 2550 width; 2550/15/7.9375 = 21.5 studs...)

@Technic BOOM, as I promise, when main construction (frame, etc) is finished, I present my solution. finally I'm satisfied with width of model.  Hope to finish it until mid of January.

Model will be featuring following motorized functions:

- front pto

- rear pto

- front three point hitch

- rear three point hitch

Model will be featuring following "manual" functions:

- all wheel steering (because wheel turning by themselves when suspension is compressed, I have decided to use gear and rack steering)

- all wheel drive

- all wheel suspension - life axle with longitudinal links almost like original

- in-line 6 cylinder engine

- opening hood...I'll think of something extra when I finish motorized functions...

Yes I'll put inline 6 cylinder fake engine; there is a place for it between bent liftarms to the left in third image...In the meantime I have reconstructed whole chassis, and left chassis part, front and rear parts are now done. the reason for reconstruction was that only one axle with gears fits in height of central chassis part if I want to hide battery box properly. Axles are also a bit different to fit within 21 studs overall (desired) width. Suspension works like it has to work for live axle and is very robust, and tractor tires are surprisingly easy to operate (manually) even under heavier weight
