Best I can tell, the ships on the far left and right actually use 32086, which is neither an actual Classic Space mold nor a current one. The nearest current equivalent is 28782, which is noticeably different. The windscreens of the ships in the background are harder to identify.

You know, I think you've got something there, as that possibility seems most apparent on the spacecraft in the left-hand foreground! *huh* The older windshield you mentioned (32068) is beveled, three bricks in height, and has four studs topping it off; so, looking at that left-hand Classic Spacecraft in the foreground, I do think that windshield could very well be what we're looking at... :distressed:

Excellent observation @Aanchir:thumbup: :sweet:

Well now I'm getting really excited. I would love to get any one of those ships + base.

So the minifigs are double bagged... don't know how difficult it will be to figure them out

Apparently the guy has said they are even easier to feel up because of the packaging material.

I hope it continues to do so, then hopefully we'll get more sets in the theme.

Also, people that say there is no market for Classic Space anymore would be proven wrong.

I mean they already are proven wrong, the sales are insane for Benny’s Space Squad! Target is running low!

Over here Amazon's sold out of the set Twice in only a week since launch, even if we don't get a full CS revival we'll at least get more sets based on the theme from TLM2

Oh god...

I cannot believe they did all of this just to put that Unikitty in the series.... :oh:

I also collect the bags and I dont really like that this one will be bigger

I thought that it had been strange in it's lack of availability in the UK.

Turns out that Benny's Space Squad is sold out almost everywhere, such as John Lewis, Smyths Toys, Amazon (even though it's listed, the delivery time frame of 1-3 months tells you everything) and Argos does even list it but does with the other LM2 sets.

The only reputable place that I could find it was at The Entertainer, if anyone is interested.

I do hope that the stuff from the new teaser trailer turns out to be another set.

How do other Classic Space fans feel about the other set, 70821 Benny's Build and Fix Workshop? I know the set isn't aimed at adults per se, but those pieces and the 1 printed piece for Benny's vehichle are worth at least one purchase in my opinion.

Further to this, I've just noticed that if you look at the 3rd image down (the box art) on Amazon's UK site, this space fleet scene is represented in the background!

https://www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-70841-Bennys-Building-Construction/dp/B07FP6QNPX/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1546479830&sr=8-1&keywords=LEGO+70841

I am so hyped now. Hope it's not all for naught.

With two copies of 70821 I built this redux of Mobile Rocket Transport:

Mobile Rocket Transport

I added one copy of Benny's Space Squad to improve the crew, rocket & radar dish:

Minor update

I guess I'm saying it's a pretty fun set for the parts, even better with Benny's Squad.

Well we are getting a set that is just a spare sticker roll for the Systar Starship

For some reason I'm super excited about it even though I'm not buying the Systar set. Definitely a good idea since kids (and adults) can/will run through those stickers pretty quickly.

Have they done this before? Tease future sets on the box art of current ones?

They've definitely teased future sets on current sets before, such as showing silhouettes of upcoming Star Wars UCS ships on previous UCS sets (and teasing the Orient Expedition China sets on the Tibet/India ones, though that was many years ago now).

On the subject of the CMF bags, I had no trouble whatsover feeling through the Unikitty bags, so it shouldn't be any issue. Weird and not environmentally friendly that LEGO has done this, but from a purchasing standpoint it makes no difference to me.

I was a bit nervous as well, with how difficult the Unikitty bags were to identify, but then I remembered that there were literally only 3 different body types that were indistinguishable aside from prints, so it should be easier for this series.

Depending on price i'm excited as well for the fact regardless of the Systar Starship you can still get the stickers.

It should be the easiest feeling wise given the package is larger and thinner then the foil packs, Unikitty series was never worth feeling for the different body types wish those had 1 peice different then one another.

Also is it just me or do those blind bags look like fruit snack wrappers with the color scheme?

I was reading the product magazine and it confirmed more sets available in May. There could be an earlier release date for other countries. No images though.

It was worth it to people like me who just wanted a couple and felt them to make sure there was no way I was getting two of the same one, since I chose one with a slope and one without. A bit off topic, but it's worth saying and even reminding myself that we shouldn't assume other people's buying habits.

Wasn't assuming other's buying habits just stating my opinion on it, also how did you make out on getting a couple any repeats? I personally feel with that series there was no sure way of not getting repeats due to more then one of a given body type.

Really that bad?! I’m never gonna find it in the UK

No worries. I only bought two and made sure I was getting one sitting and one standing kitty, so there was no way they could be the same. I could've gone for a Puppercorn too by feeling his ears or tail, but none of those really suited my fancy.

Benny's Squad sold out on LEGO's site in about one minute here in Australia and doesn't come out in retail until March. Just like with other hot LEGO commodities though, patience is a virtue. They'll catch up with demand eventuallly. One must only wait it out.

"Doesn't come out in retail until March"? What makes you say that? Are the TLM2 sets not goin to be available here in Australia until March? Has this been confirmed? I'm going to the Melbourne Legoland Discovery Centre tomorrow in hopes of getting a couple of them, will I be wasting my time?

Even on this theme, we had Apocalypseberg in the background, but I guess we just didn't realise until it potentially happened again with the space port.
