Hi, the other day I am thinking in cool things TLC can release and then I think what if TLC produce a new line of city essentials but this time in the star wars universe :'-) . I think an actual example is the Republic Cruiser because it isnt a battle ship is from the senate. I think a cool set TLC can produce in this line is a Courscant air taxi *wub* . So what do you think guys?

Spoier Alert!

Star Wars.

Didnt get that? Star Wars. Meaning it has to fight or have guns. But on a light side I would love to see some city sets from Star Wars.

Well i have wanted a dexs diner set for a long time. With dex of course and the waitress driod too. *wub*

Thanks PSPguy for the clarification ;-) . Yeah I use the Star Wars but more like the title of the saga itself.

I have other idea the senate itself. It isn

Just think in a Jar Jar with senator outfit :-D .

Thatll make me want to whack him even more. :-P

Yes it could be cool!

I already have some ideas:

Naboo:

Theed Palace

Theed Hangar

Some houses

Coruscant:

500 republica

Galactic senate

Chancellor's office

Jedi temple

Dex's diner

I think they took steps in the right direction with the old Cloud City exclusive set, the Cantina, and even Sandcrawler. But yes, it would be nice if LEGO produced a wider variety from the Star Wars universe. A modular cantina set would be cool- a number of small sets that could be merged together.

I, for one, am getting bored with all the space ships. But, in the end, it is all about playability. So, as neat as Dex's Diner would be, I think kids would find it boring.

But if that SpongeBob stuff can sell, why can't a diner?

I have secretly hoped for this for a since the last cantina that I refused to buy. Smallish sets 2 sets per release, I would say probably over 3 years for a total of 12 sets. Have every single set include 1 member of the band and one piece that will be the modular unit, i.e. The alcove with Han, Greedo, and one Band Member.

That's plausible, they could have a big set, and two smaller add-ons, like they did for Jabba's Palace.

~Peace

That would be nice to see! Some peaceful SW sets for once

Although Starfighters and ships are cool and you can swoosh them,We need some modular SW buildings! :'-)

Jabba's Palace

Cloud City (again)

Death Star

Theed Palace

Jedi Temple

Cantina (again)

So more buildings, less ships On!

Right you are. Modular is the right way to go. C'mon LEGO, let's see some of these ideas! *y*

Good ideas of all :'-) . If lego start to producing again scenes (something I hope and *wub* ) they need to do them in a Cafe Corner style, not to be big or all of them of the same scene but with such detail :'-) .

Edited by darkrebellion

yeah, scenes are well missed...

true, we do need some mild things in our collections, but ther are so many better possibilities that TLC could produce, like the jedi temple or dogobah scenes

Yes Buildings and scenes!! I want them since...forever *cry_happy*

Very good ideas, thought of them, too, but don't forget Tatooine!!

Correct - If Sponge Bob sells every Star Wars set will sell *tongue*

Dex is cool!

I didn't buy the cantina, too and now I'm going mad about it *sceptic* How stupid could I be???

Yes scenes, scenes, scenes...jedi temple, coruscant, tatooine, naboo...all great!

But what the heck would you want to sell from DAGOBAH?! There's just nothing but Yoda's hutt and we already got that. *wink* *tongue*

Interesting topic, darkrebellion!

Star Wars. Meaning it has to fight or have guns.

I can't totally agree: Do only think of sets which TLG released in the past and didn't include "war or battle material": The Landspeeder or the Twin Pod Cloud Car or the Dessert Skiff.

I would like to see a comeback of the Twin Pod Cloud Car - with Lobot, one Guard and some cargo stuff. That would be  !

i agree i remeber having that set and it was very good set

Yeah we need more civil star wars sets to create a real star wars world that doesn't consist of nothing but war.

Benny

I also want star wars buildings and civilian things. I would like it when they make the sloppy cantina were Ani and Obi seek Zam Wesel and put also the silly guy who wants to sell Obi deathsticks in it.

Dexter diners is also very nice

Mos eisley cantina was so minimalistic, that really need a redesign.

Amen!

A Mos Eisley Canina in about the size of Jabba's Palace (including Jabba's Message and Jabba's Prize) with about the same number of minifigs and with a lot of different Sand Troopers would be  and absolutely necessary (perhaps a Sandtrooper BP, too, that would be   ) - like a bigger, more "closed rooms" and better designed Cloud City!

Yeah I think they could do some *normal* houses, too. Nabooan houses are just  .

AND THEY SHOULD DO SOME SORT OF SPACEPORT (like the Mos Eisley spaceport from EP IV)

Benny

I'd love to see a modular Death Star with sets for the main scenes. As part of the "Death Star" Essentials you could also pick up a corridor or other compartments, each coming with a minifig or two droids.

But if that SpongeBob stuff can sell, why can't a diner?

I agree! Ever since the first LEGO Star Wars video game I've wanted to see Dexter's Diner as a set. That and a JEdi Council chamber with al lthe minifigs.

Yes!!! they should do some sort of house thing a normal one!!! then we can make raided or gaurded or even storyline towns!
