Wowowow, £130? That's about 170 USD and 200+ CAD, making the Aston Martin more expensive than even the London Bus. This car better be worth that kind of money.

A 20% increase given the license is probably about right* when compared with the £110 London Bus.

Does anyone think we will get a James Bond minifigure with the set? I fear we won’t because it’s Creator and often don’t do minifigures.

No minifigure sadly.

Just create your own, very easy to make custom 007....fleshie head, suit (or tuxedo) torso, hair (colour according to your preferred actor), an appropriate weapon and you're all set.

There's a small invitation for the  Leicester Store event on July 18th. Says that you're invited to the "official reveal" (will it really be on the 18th? That late?). There's also an image of a blueprint depicting one the wheels of the car. I think they're the same size as the Beetle, but they use a new mold.

EDIT: Upon further inspection, looks like they also use the shuriken from Ninjago for the tire slashers.

@KevinMD that picture's a MOC. Just speculation as to what the set might look like. (If you're talking about the picture with the red arrow and the "Could it look like this" caption).

Upon further, further inspection with some pictures from Google showing blueprints of the real DB5, the car is about 6 and a half wheels long and 2 and a half wheels wide. If the TLG uses the wheels from the Beetle and the Caterham, which are 5cm in diameter, then the car would be roughly 33cm long and 13cm wide. This feels like far-fetched speculation, but it's something to help picture the size of the set.

That big ? I would have expected it to use the same wheels as the London Bus. At least that gives an idea of the scale of the model.

Yeah, and in googling I am finding similar pictures (and the old brick built style) but nothing that appears to be legit.  Oh well, soon enough.

It looks like the launch event in London will come with a special "owners card". An image of that (which may or may not also have an image of the set) is over on Reddit now.

The Card looks like the Drivers License for the London Bus. I'm pretty certain that the image is the final set.

The fact it exists at all is great IMO. Especially with a few working gadget features.

Sure there'll be some compromises in the build that not everyone will like (believe it or not not everyone unconditionally loves the design of the car itself despite now-iconic status), but name me a creator or technic car that doesn't.

Looks very blocky to me. If it was £70 like some of the other creator cars then it would be great, but £130? No thank you
