Posted June 20, 20186 yr I built this for the Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka forum, but I wanted to share it here as well. I was inspired by the scene from RoTJ where the Emperor's shuttle is approaching the Death Star hangar bay. Full sized pics on my flickr. Hide contents The first thing I built was the microscale version of the Assault Shuttle that was first introduced in SoNE Episode XVI. I wanted to do something similar to the shot from RoTJ, when the Emperor's Shuttle is approaching the hanger. I built a tiny version of the hanger, then built a quick mockup to get an idea of how high and wide the trench would need to be: WIP Progression: Spoiler The tiny hangers are lit with power function lights: Spoiler The only editing I had to do for the main approach sequence was removal of the spaceship supports and a little lightening of the engine areas: Extra tiny version from last shot:
June 21, 20186 yr I can't help imaging the movie scene with your fun MoC series, just made a gif for you. And you do inspire me to apply this size-change series on my recent MoC of republic gunship.
