I'm getting the whole series, since I'm trying to get as many DC characters as possible, whether they are official, custom printed, or purist customs, so this series is great for that, but here's my thoughts:                            Aquaman: boring and a wasted spot since he isn't a new character and is a bit bland, although that hook is good for sea king.    Batman (Earth-One)- good for jsa and that head is good for customs Batmite- great character and I love that comic cover.             Bumblebee- good for teen titans fans, but is a bit bland, although it allows for more diversity.      Cyborg- I like the prints and helmet. That's it.                            Jay Garrick- awesome for jsa and flash fans, helmet great for rival. Simon Baz- guy, Kyle, abin, or literally 100 lanterns would be better than this somewhat boring lantern from a horrid time in dc history, although the prints are amazing.                              Huntress- Batwoman hair with purple and black would be better, but perfect other than that.               Metamorpho- good for jsa fans, torso could be used for two face goon, rest is useless.                        Mister Miracle- great character, prints are useless.                              Cheetah- good for golden age/earth-two fans, money bag and tail good.                                       Joker (Earth-34)- love dkr and torso and legs good for 2-face-2.     Sinestro- lantern ring and battery good, rest is a waste of a spot.        Star girl- good for jsa fans, nice prints.                                                     Superman- wasted spot, daily planet tile good, parts useless.        Wonder woman- good for jsa fans, parts good for wonder girl (I think)

Sorry for wall of text

I'm looking forward to the release!

so much negativity, should be grateful!

I'm definetely looking forward to this series, so I'll be putting them in my 3 usual catagories: good, okay and bad. Good and okay are the figures I will definetely buy and bad are the figures I'll only get if I find them for a good price.

Good: Aquaman (1000 times better than any other Aquaman we've gotten, especially with the hook hand) / Batmite (his new cowl and comicbook print are fantastic) / Cyborg (great prints and cool headmold) / Jay Garrick (everything about him is fantastic) / Huntress (great prints) / Mr Miracle (looks great with all the different colors) / Joker (haircolor is a bit disappointing but the rest of the figure is great) / Stargirl (great prints, good accesory) / Wonder Woman (fantastic prints)

Okay: Bumblebee (not a fan of the character but I like the hair and wings) / Sinestro (good character, not the best outfit) / Superman (fine figure but a great newspaper print)

Bad: Batman (I like the new dualmolded legs, that's about it) / Metamorpho (stupid character, good looking but useless prints) / Cheetah (nothing interesting but the moneybag) / Simon Baz (the figure is fine but I don't like the character itself)

Overall it's a pretty great series, most characters are really good and the bad figures at least have some usefull parts. My favorite figure is definetely Jay and Cheetah is my least favorite. I'll probably end up buying the entire series though, eventually

I really like this series. Some really good variants, like DKR Joker, which I’m SHOCKED we’re getting. A good amount of new characters (none of which are really THAT obscure, not that I’d mind). Some great prints, dual molding, and new molds. As far as the price increase goes, eh, it’s a dollar.

I really love this series though. I'm being negative because I know they can do better.

You know they have to market this to people who don’t know who any of the characters are, right? Can you imagine how hard it must be to go through the entire DC roster, all of the Ages, Elseworlds, different Earths and other updated suit/character variants, just to find 16 that should be the right ones to please hardcore fans, casual fans, pop culture fans, Lego fans, kids, AfoLs and the lucky dip purchaser? Finding a balance that pleases enough people can’t be easy. There are something like 15,000 characters to trawl through, which is more than Disney, Harry Potter and Simpsons combined. You can’t please all of the people all of the time. Saying that certain characters and parts are useless is not only massively insulting to the designers but also reinforces my previous sentence.

I think they did really well, and love this series, and I meant the parts and characters are useless for me. As it is,  I was only negative about 6 characters, one being what feels like the millionth Superman who looks the same, when there could have easily been an Earth-2/first appearance one instead, a green lantern who is a bit boring, in my opinion, but is great for customs, mister miracle, whose prints are so specific that it is impossible to use elsewhere, even though I love mister Miracle and that figure, cyborg, who is a repeat of a previous character we have gotten many times, with great prints I just love, Sinestro, who I like the accessories of, but the prints are very specific and the character has been gotten before, and finally Aquaman, who we have gotten just last year, but I did like that hand. I love all of these figures in their own way, but was critical because those were the only flaws I could find in an otherwise perfect series. This will be the first series I collect in full. I'm sorry it came off as me being an angry troll.

27000 characters, btw, not counting many duplicates of heroes from different earths and some characters missed from the database due to obscurity.

No worries, it just surprised me that you can use the words perfect and useless to describe the same thing  there are scores of minifigures with single use prints, really. As for figures I was being conservative as there are myriad characters who couldn’t be minifigures for accuracy, but it strengthens my point about how difficult it must have been to scale down the list. I think if they put a KC/Earth 2 Supes in the mix they would weaken their hand next time (assuming that’s the plan). They’ve done versions of the current JL seven, which I don’t think they could do again too many times, particularly with Aquaman and Cyborg as once you’ve thrown the Syndicate in the series there’s not much more scope. There’s a wad of interesting Supermen, I freely admit that, but they have to take the risk of holding back on all cool ones to start with. I don’t envy them that part of the job, certainly.

Built the 1989 Batmobile - Limited Edition.  (the small one) . I'm surprised how well the stand works and absolutely loving this smaller version.  I really wish this set is more widely available.

My favourite is Huntress. Been hoping she'd show up since I started collecting Lego three years ago. Second fav is The Flash. Already getting the full wave as I have it on order. Will get as many copies of each character as I can to try and secure a second series

The Wonder Woman Set (76157) is $50 Canadian (so probably around $35-40 USD) and releases in April

And it's not a 4plus?

Wonder Woman taking a cue from Metallica in the teaser trailer!

Ride the Lightning!  Sorry had to drop that l o l

I’m probably gonna buy multiples of Batman and Flash! I love ‘em so much! Great job designers!

Like wise I'm already eyeing off the whole box!

If 76157 is Wonder Woman 1984 set (which it is for like 99%), then:

1. It costs 35€

2. It comes out April 1st

3. It's a 7+ set (regular set), not a 4+ set

https://planetaklockow.pl/lego-super-heroes-76157-tbd-lsh-2020-18 (Polish website, 170 PLN equals 35€, just like War Machine Buster set, you can also see a 1.04.2020 release date)

https://fr.shopping.rakuten.com/offer/buy/3994872592/lego-76157-76157-lsh-2020-18-v29.html (piece number is just a placeholder, but they have accurate ages for all 2020 sets)

Batmite's Batman glasses are adorable! It makes him look like a nerdy member of the Sons of Batman (the reformed Mutant gang members from the Dark Knight Returns comic).

Has anyone here yet seen the leg printing and head printing for First Appearance Wonder Woman and Batman (respectively)? :shrug_confused:

I think I actually like Wonder Woman more this way, without the skirt piece

Yeah, I have to agree, as the skirt piece never seems to work on figures that lack an oversized, specialized head like Minnie and Daisy. :sceptic:
