Fives Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 We did. And we got tan-hooded in 8038. Maybe he means generic tan-furred. That is what I mean. Possibly with a more orange coloured hood. Also, I have a few more to add to the list: New pupilized versions of most of the AOTC and ROTS characters that haven't had the treatment yet (Dooku and Yoda especially). Also, how about a new Dagobah Luke and Bespin Luke! With that new hairpiece, they would look great! Also, and I realize this doesn't really belong here but in the Future sets thread, we need a new version of the Yoda's hut and X-Wing. The X-Wing needs to be redone with more accuracy (since when has the X-Wing been WHITE!), maybe the Hagobad (I read that that is the legit name of the swamp creature that spits out R2 ), the hut (bigger with more interior), and possibly a little side thing with some rocks and objects and some sort of function that makes them float. Figs could be Luke (dagobah attire), new Yoda, R2, and maybe the apparition Vader. Quote

Thego Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 (edited) That's a parallelogram of Dagobah! <pedantic>I think you meant palindrome, but I don't think it's that either. It's actually known as a semordnilap.</pedantic> Edited June 3, 2011 by Thego Quote
MrLestrange Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 I loved to have...well, a clone wars version of Padmé Amidala, and a clone wars version of Barriss Offee. I'd like to have Dutchess Satine, a Mother Talzin, from clone wars, a new Ventress (with nightsister's clothes). And, a new Ahsoka too! An Ahsoka from the saison 3 of clone wars. Quote

It's actually known as a semordnilap.</pedantic> It's none of them. A parallelogram is a shape, a palindrome is a word spelled the same backwards and forwards, like 'mom', and a semordnilap is a word that spells another word when spelled backwards, like 'live' and 'evil'. 'Hagobad' spelled backwards is 'dabogah'. You're thinking of an anagram, which rearranges the letters in a word or phrase to produce another word or phrase. In any case, there is no such thing as a 'Hagobad'; it's a Habogad, which is a semordnilap; but the Habogad only appears in the Super Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back video game. In Empire (the movie), the creature that swallows and spits out R2 is the King of Dragonsnakes. Quote
Thego Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 'Hagobad' spelled backwards is 'dabogah'. Oh yeh, I hadn't noticed that! Quote

Maybe he means that on Dagobah a parallelogram is called a Hagobad and coincidently is also the name of that swamp monster. Quote
Fives Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Ok, everyone, the Hagobad was not meant to create this big off topic rant from everybody. I read this was the name of the creature. I don't remember where, but I previously knew that it was a dragonsnake (I have never seen the full creature, only what is visible in the film, and I never wish to). I think that Hagobad or Habogad or whatever could possibly be a name, like Boga for the varactyl on Utapau. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 I think that Hagobad or Habogad or whatever could possibly be a name, like Boga for the varactyl on Utapau. No, it's a species.Anyways, as you say, I suppose this is now off-topic even if the Habogad discussion was on-topic originally, so back on-topic. Quote

streifen Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 i would like any of the weird characters from the mos eisley cantina. the release of those minifigs with the usual characters + a lot of tan bricks/parts = a full-blown mos eisley scene Quote
Mr Man Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 A new tusken raider? They could use a tan version of Savage, and Mauls new headpiece for the hood horns on the raider. Quote
TheDarkness Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 I would like some more creatures, particularly from the arena scene in ep 2. Might as well throw in a Padme in white/torn shirt. Quote
dmemmi Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 I would like to see characters from 19 BBY to 0 BBY(between episode 3 and 4)such as the anti troopers from Star Wars Battlefront 2. Also it would be nice to see some of the characters from the clone wars in non-cartoon form Quote

It won't sell well though, look at the Rouge Shadow, and that was a visual medium. Besides it's not too hard to make that fig at home. Quote

Squid Head (could be a really cool minifig) 3. Boushh 4. Garindan (the long nosed spy from Mos Eisly) Edited June 9, 2011 by Ackbar Quote
Vindice Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 I think moulds for the Quarren and Gran would be fantastic although the Quarren is much more likely. I think new versions of Jabba and the Gamorrean Guards are long overdue............ hmm actually a good Jabba's palace may solve all these issues!! Quote
