ShadowWolfHount Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 I think the piece that Clone Wars Count Dooku uses would look the best for Tarkin. I think the piece on Grandpa or the piece on the episode 2 Dooku, would work a lot better in my opinion. Quote
Jdurg Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Although I can't name specific characters, if TLG ever decided to do a massive, Death-Star 1 Scale UCS set for the Prequel Trilogy, perhaps they could do the Senate Chamber and included a ton of galactic senators and various species for use in the set. I know this may be more of a "wanted sets" reply, but the inclusion of the different species could satisfy a lot of desires, plus it would be a nice big set. The only downfall is that I see very little playability there aside from the scene in Episode III where Yoda and Emperor Palpatine fight each other. Quote

I'm with Wesker, the CW Dooku/JJonahJameson hair seems most fitting for Tarkin. It flares on the sides, has a nice peak in the middle, far closer to a good silhouette of Tarkin in Lego form. Not perfect, maybe, but better IMO that the slicked-back AOTC-Dooku/Tri-Fighter Palpatine hair or Grandpa's bald cap. Quote
ShadowWolfHount Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Well the CW Dooku hair would fit more to the CW Tarkin but the Movie Tarkin, I more to those two hair mostly because it seem more fitting then the CW Dooku hair in my opinion. Quote

I'm not sure what you're referring to...There was no death star that was actually built in the prequel trilogy. They had plans but they weren't put into action until after episode 3. Yoda and the emperor fought in his office and in the grand chamber on coruscant inside of the senate building. Quote

Yeah, my bad for not describing it properly. I meant to say "Death Star 1 style massive set" for the prequel trilogy. My bad! Quote

Ap11AP Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 The Senate Guards from Episode 1 would be great, along with the version of Palpatine from the episode in his robes. Quote

Venkefedo Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Yes! Delta Squad would be pretty easy (a new helmet might be nice, but new prints on one of the existing clone or Mando/Bounty-Hunter helms might do in a pinch), and a great Battlepack (just needs a brick-built droid enemy from the game, which should likewise be pretty simple to do! And hey, if they don't use the new launching-blasters (which, to be fair, look closer to Delta Squad's DC-17m than they do to other SW weapons), they can always use this one which doesn't see enough use, and could be great for Sev's sniper add-on or Scorch's anti-armor attachment. Venkefedo Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Pfft… pointing out my own stupidity here, I linked a weapon that only debuted this year and said it "doesn't see enough use". I had confused it with the guns from Indiana Jones & Batman sets, which didn't have studs on the sides or top (but were otherwise fairly similar in proportions, if a bit shorter) Quote
ShadowWolfHount Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 (edited) Seeing minifigure of Delta Squad would be epic and using that piece would help a lot on making there DC-17m. But there are some thing I should point out that sev have a blood-red color that was people don't know that if he used paint or read blood, so with Lego they may just going to say it's paint or we will never see sev as a official Lego Minifigure. The Battack Pack, it mostly have 2/2 minifigure or 1/1/2 minifigure or all 4 of the minifigure are the same, so it would have two droid enemy from the game and two normal Clone Commando. Dealt Squad would be in a bigger set if all 4 of them would be together 2 (Boss and Fixer) of them would be in a set then the other 2 (Sev and Scorch) in a different set. Edited July 8, 2014 by ShadowWolfHount Quote
Venkefedo Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Sev's red coloring's probably just paint; most of their enemies have been droids, and I'm not sure Geonosians (probably the only organics they'd engaged in combat before the game begins) would even have red blood. If they had to split up the squad between two BPs due to some rule about not having 4 unique prints in a single set, that's fine so long as we get some interesting droid builds (one could have Destroyers akin to last year's AOTC BP, one a mini-spider-droid, and then a couple random Battle Droid minifigs) Quote
Nom Carver Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 We have to admit that delta squad will only appear on our wildest dreams, the last hope we had to ever get an official version of them was their appearance on CW show, but if they ever appeared on a set, it should be fighting against one of those dwarf spider droids. I agree, although we did get the Old Republic sets, so there might be a shred of hope. TLG should definitely branch out and do other things like this though. Maybe we could get some in polybags or other means of exclusive figs. Quote
Nom Carver Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 So true, we still have the polybags! TLG hear our prayers, release Delta squad! Quote
ShadowWolfHount Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 You want a little girl to hear your prayers (sorry I just have to say that) XD Anyways ya, it would be most likely we see one of the Delta Squad in a Polybag (mostly on may the 4th) and I think first one would be Boss. Quote

I'd be fine with that… any of 'em other that Scorch (Hasbro seemed to LOOOOOOVE Scorch above all the rest) Quote
GuyDudeMan27 Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 I want to see an updated Wedge and Biggs in their pilot gear. We have Luke and Jek, so why not round out the collection? I would like to see them in a proper set rather than poly bags. Maybe a rebel hanger playset with a B-Wing in alternate colors. (And hopefully with some well needed fixes) Quote
wesker Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 I'm surprised they've left Biggs and Wedge this long. They could have easily taken the place of the generic pilots in the planet sets or advent calenders. Quote

The faces are also very easy. Just add a mustache and maybe some hair or new smile. Really, no excuse. Quote
